Throughout history, there has always been some group "terrorizing" the majority. Anarchists were the "terrorists" of the 19th century, Communists in the 20th.Life goes on.
I agree although the fact the WMDs can possibly be purchased on the black market and be used to to wipe a whole city or country makes it a tad bit different.

just curious, with all the internet bashing, etc, if a bethelite wanted to have internet access in their room, would it be allowed.. if so, i wonder if they monitor the activity?
I
just want to point out that communications over an SSL connection are secure from snooping between your browser and the receiving server, with the exception that routers in between can see the destination (not the contents) of the communications. If you are on a network that is being monitored, you can therefore provide communication privacy by connecting to a proxy server outside the network via an SSL connection. The monitors will be able to see that you are connecting to the proxy server, but will be unable to know what your actual destination or communication content is.
Hope that helps!

Thats true but if they have a good proxy server than it should be blocking those anonymizer sites. Bottom line though is if someone really wants to get around the proxy they can, and if that guy really wants to monitor his dad from 1000 miles away he can

I think Snape made an Unbreakable Vow to Dumbledore to follow his orders, which is why Dumbledore trusts him so much. Dumbledore wasn't pleading for his life, he was pleading for Snape to do what he had to, else Snape would have died. Remember too in The Order of Phoenix, Dumbledore tells Voldemort that there are worse things than dying and that if Dumbledore was struck down he would become more powerful than Voldemort could imagine. I think if Snape was following Dumbledore's orders and is not really a Death Eater, it would explain why he was so furious at Harry for accusing him of cowardice. Despite Snape's fascination with the Dark Arts, I think he really wants nothing to do with Voldemort and was providing Dumbledore with information about him, his movements and the identities of the Death Eaters.
Thats close to what I was thinking. I thought that maybe because of his unbreakable vow to protect Malfoy he had to kill Dumbledore.

I know of people who finished it in one sitting.
I dont know if this is the same dog but it might be:
a dime has 118 ridges around the edge.
a cat has 32 muscles in each ear.
