  Honesty I would be more than happy and willing that we go through those things. I am leaving work now. Lets cover this ONE statement you quoted from Jesus FIRST without going of into bunny trails. Then when we squash that we can go on to the next. Deal? I suggest you do some research on that scripture you quoted, because you are not using it correctly.

  Can you disprove any of the cited scriptures and comments by using only a Bible and Greek-English Dictionary?

  If the earth will never be destroyed or depopulated, why does Jesus himself say that "Heaven and EARTH will pass away…" (Mt 24:35, Mk 13:31, Lk 21:33)?

  That is not right. You have applyied that wrong. Lets talk about that for starters.

  Jgnat Yes i am working late tonight. My shift has changed this week. I am working 2nd shift. I wasnt attributing any motive. I said it all depends on her motive as to whether or not it was wrong of her to write that letter. As far as going into it concerning the doctrine. I have in the past. I dont like Merry go rounds they make me sick.

  What Would It Take

  a few months back i remembered a newbie asked in this forum what would it take for a current witness to "go over the edge".

  in other words what would it take, personally as a witness, to stop going to meetings or to just quit being a jw?

  what would you have to learn or see?

  I just felt it necessary to point out that the vast majority of those claiming to be of the annointed have absolutely NOTHING to do with putting together the publications, doctrines anything at all. It is a select few who have any input in that department. Its just another example of the society making the remnant appear to be something they are not.

  How do you know that miss peaches? Did you work there? Do you have FIRST hand knowledge of HOW they do things up there?

  the dubs at booklyn bethal would do if that bird flu passes from human to human.

  being a great crowd would they disband and close bethal or would they continue publishing those rag mags.

  that virus is one scary prospect.

  The ENTIRE Inhabited Earth?

  revelation 12:9b says that "satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth"..... seeing as how satan is "misleading the entire inhabited earth", then doesn't the word "entire" include the wts as being misled as well?

  there is nothing to indicate in this scripture that one organization will not be under his control.. knowing that the wts is-has been-and will be----filled with errors and "mistakes" of admittedly imperfect men's interpretations, how does any jw put their trust in these men to guide their spirituality and salvation by telling them that they are getting "food from god" and then having to change what "god" said?.

  from what i see, the wts is just as much under this "satanic misleading" as everyone else.....

  Ok you two. WHO really is the faithful and discreet slave? How is Gods people being feed? Where is jesus Christian Congregation that was started by him? Where should I go to worship God and be taught by him?

  Honesty I would say it would all depend on your MOTIVE. I read your letter and to be frank, alot of the things you mentioned are not correct. Trinity, New Heavens and New Earth. I noticed you used scriptures on some as a refute, when in fact they dont apply or you are apllying them incorrectly. My opinion is, that you will never get anywhere with that person by trying to make them see that what they are taught about Jehovah and Jesus and Paradise are wrong. Never!

  Should people try to speak the language of the land when visiting?

  as most of you know, i live in quebec (90% french) and i was at the convenience store a moment ago.. there was a lady from ontario in her 50's who stopped at the conveniece store to ask the clerc for directions in english.

  the girl at the cash tried her best to speak english and give her the right directions.

  then a client came in the convenience store and saw the lady talking in english.

  I think if you are just VISITING as your topic says, NO I dont feel someone should know the language. If someone MOVES in and becomes members of society, then yes.
