911 Access to Every One at Bethel.

imagine the termoil, as member after member dials it, i think they would have to treat you very kindly at bethel if you dialed it, because you were in need of some good psycologial help and didn't have anywhere else to turn.

i think many eyes will be opened and this might occure with some regularity,, putting the governing body in a very dangerous position if they did any harm to these desperate people.

at any rate i think if bethel doesn't have access to 911 available, i think it would be against the law, something to look into.

why wouldn't they have access to 911? i thought that was a free number anyone could dial for emergency services...

An End To Shunning

well, in my case anyway.

for those of you that may recall my posts about my family and that after i left the wts, how i wrote long (and painful) letters to my nonjw children among others.

i had tried to explain why i had shunned them and how very sorry i was, and for all the mistakes i had made throughout their childhoods as a jw mother.

Convention Drama, an example of Anachronistic Propaganda

the recent 2005 "godly obedience" convention drama is an example of an anachronism!

I'll have to back Ozzie up with that one.

When they broke out the American accents in the bible dramas here in Australia the reaction is often met with sniggers from the crowd. They only contributed to making the whole thing less authentic.

Your right though. The whole drama this year is blatant propoganda. I wonder how many JW's will be able to see through it however...

Yep! Its 1645 here... I'm going home in 15 minutes...

I'm gonna hop in my winter jimmy jams, crack open a bottle of cab sav and sit down and gossip with the flat mate. Life is harsh.. LOL

Yeah dagnammit! I can't sleep either....

Of course currently I am at work and they don't endorse that type of behaviour here.

House (Medical Show) Anyone watch it? I have a question...

recently they have begun screening a new series called house.

its about a surly dr house who is really smart solves complex cases yada yada yada.. i was watching it last night and they had a preview highlight of next weeks episode.
