ah dude! this cracks me up... we had an elder in our congregation who inherited his briefcase from his father. It was revolting! it was this old fashioned briefcase sort of triangle in shape and it was fur! and it was all mangy due to its age. and bits of it was always falling out....

by WingCommander ini bet some still carry them.
you all know what i'm talking about; there were at least 3 brothers in the congregation that had one.
thank god my father wasn't one of them.

now that you have attended apostafests and gotten to know people over the phone or by email here at jwd do you feel you have made life long friends;you know the kind you'd expect to come to your wedding or to be there at your funeral - would drop in on for coffee if you ever happened to be in their part of the world?.
or is it primarily just a forum of faceless entities who you appreciate the comments and support of online but don't necessarily feel an affection for or an urge to meet or further cement that friendship?

some people i recognise as kindred spirits instantly. some people i have really grown to love as they reveal themselves more and more. I would consider many on here to be actual friends.

I have noticed that religions are getting very rich using my name amassing huge real estate portfolios. How about selling some of your assets and help the poor around the world
Hmmm here's an interesting point. I've been trying to save up to buy a house. Might be better off to start off a new religon and get my very own huge real estate portfolio. THANKS GOD!
