i found a best book for asking question to jw.
i this is a best book and every one must read this.
it will give you some questions and reasoning by which you can fight with jw.

i guess my new-found freedom of personal expression is working its way down to my kids.. i came home from a crazy day at work, ate my dinner, was loading the dishwasher, when my 13-year-old son says, .
"mom, i have something to tell you - i'm bisexual...i've been that way for a year now.
i still can't help but have my old jw brain at work, thinking this is not okay - kind of like, i'm an apostate with a bisexual son...what will my family say?!
Misguided... First up you must be doing something right for your son to find you so approachable.
Secondly I thought telling you about my friend may be of some help. Some people have said that it is too young an age to know your sexuality. However my best friend is gay. He was brought up as a JW and is now a successful fader. When my friend told me that he is gay he told me that he has known since he was a child that he was different. And once he hit puberty he knew definately that he is gay.
What I am trying to say is that your son may be very aware of his sexuality. It doesn't necessarily mean he is going to act upon it. If he told you he liked a girl I am sure you would not assume he is going to go out and start having sex or anything. All you can do is continue on in the path you have already gone upon. Continue to remain a confidante for your boy and give him the support he so desperately needs during one of the most awkward stages of his life.

i can't help but wonder if mj is trying to get in good graces with jehovah's witnesses in order to be re-instated.
or, whether he feels attending kingdom hall gives him a better image.
or whether he just wants his children to have some type of religious following.

and I agree. Ultimately none of us will even know the truth of what happened however we are all entitled to our opinions.

i having been "lurking" around here for about a month--right when i was disfellowshipped actually.
in a year long relationship--broke up-five months later had a bout of conscience and told on myself.
myself and my ex are disfellowshipped and now most of my former group of "friends" are getting in trouble.

Perhaps you may feel you lack social skills to fit in with non JW's. You've come from a sheltered controlled lifestyle. I am confident you will develop them and found yourself surrounded by many supportive friends.

okay, i'm new as you all probably know, so my question may have been discussed several times in the past.
i'm just curious as to when some of you came to the conclusion that enough was enough and that you didn't want to attend the meetings anymore or not be a jw.
was it in field service, at home, at the hall?
I knew it wasn't right when I began sinking into a depressed state because of the emotional toil the organisation was having upon me. Trying to live up to their standards and always do the right thing and constantly recieving criticism that we weren't doing enough wore me down. I'm not a depressive person by nature.
My best friend told me he was gay. He told me how bad he felt for being that way and how he has tried to deny it all his life. He still has not revealed who he really is to his family because of fear of them shunning him. I see the pain as he struggles with the heartache of his JW upbringing and how conflicting it is with the person he is. No God would put a person through that anguish. My best friend taught me tolerance. Something the JW organisation failed to do.
I wasn't the perfect JW girl. I liked to dress the way that suited me which might not necessarily be the dolly bird fashion at the time. I guess you could say despite being brought up in that environment i was fortunate enough to develop an individuality. Which consituted me an unsuitable marriage mate. I got sick of being pitied by 17 year old babies getting engaged because I happened to be single.

Shy at first then so loud people tend to forget I was ever shy. I try to be good to others but fall short way too many times. I love looking after my friends and boyfriend. They all call me the mummy of the group

Exactly... what is the timetable. The JW beliefs are pivotal on the 1914 Jesus ruling as king etc etc etc. Yet this date is not correct according to their own prophecies. Their fundamental teachings are blatantly incorrect.
I would like to know your thoughts on the whole 607 debacle and how you can go back to a religon which teaches such blatant inaccuracies. Because quite frankly someone knowing this and returning to it confounds me.
Your whole post and reasoning behind it has completely shocked me.
