  is it just me, or is controversial music more truthful than, lets say...."the truth" ???

  i've been warned against music like this since as long as i can remember but nuthing stopped me from listening to it and relating better to tha lyrics than any speech i've been givin at meetings.

  music is a big part of my life and i'm making it a career goal, but i hear that jw's cant go into tha entertainment business... your trying to tell me that a job that puts food on tha table, and a lil more, is any different from selling shoes in a lil store?

  welcome to the site boyee.... and theres nothign wrong with a shoe store... the emphasis on music and it being improper is because the society knows how influential music can be... anything that goes against their bullshit is wrong.. they dont want u thinking for yourself, cuz then youll be smart enough to realize whats goin on, and ull walk away.. MUSIC IS THE DEVILL BECAUSE IT CAN MAKE YOU THINK!

  What Infamous said. On the other hand, if you had already made lots and lots of money in the industry, I'm sure you could be forgiven and accepted for a big fat contribution for the world wide work.

  I usually don't watch tv just see it in passing, but after seeing the commercial, I couldn't wait for this show tonight. It kills me that it is a to be continued thing.

  It is funny to think that at one time I was as closed minded as that lady, albeit with a cleaner mouth. I felt sorry for the poor lady who encountered the 'christian' welcome wagon. Reminds me of the last time I had a family get together.

  i posted this on a different thread regarding my mother but her sister (my aunt) told her that because i left the "truth" and am living my life outside of bible principles, that the "demons" are affecting her.

  she told my mom that twice last week, "the demons pushed her" and caused her to fall.

  because my mother associates with me and my mom associates with her sister----therefore the "contact" is made thru my mother to her.

  Holy crap! They have NO shame! The out-right admit that they intend to deny money to people who desperately need it!

  Can a group of apostates take up a collection for a specific relief effort, and mark the check for a specific purpose. Make it for something traceable, such as a soup kitchen in New Orleans, or some other disaster area. Follow through on such, if it is not used as intended file a qui tam lawsuit? When the State of NY or the Feds see it, i'm sure they would be interested in recovering all the taxable revenue that the world wide investment scam is claiming as corban.
