i was listening to zep's dazed and confused today and the rocking middle section of that song never ceases to amaze me - john bonham was from a different planet, was completely insane, or both.

as i was headed home the other day, it occurred to me that it was my jw neighbor's birthday.
i remembered this as i realized that she would be at my home in about 20 minutes so that i could help her with something.
so, i quickly stopped at a store and got her a gift, and had it gift-wrapped.
Bebu, your such a good neighbor and friend to celebrate your JW neighbor birthday. Sometimes it takes a act of kindness from another person outside the borg to question their faith. You have given me the courage to celebrate my JW mother "happy mother's day".
i was reading my local paper this morning and there was a letter to the editor.
the writer had recently lost a child and the child's obituary was recently printed in our paper.
the writer said she received a letter with a "jehovah witness tract" called "what help for dead loved ones?
yup...here's what happen to my sister and her JW friends, when one of our distance relative passed away...this guy hung himself and his body wasn't found in a month, so it was a big drama about how to plan his funeral. all of his sisters are from different religious backgrounds and they all agree to have a church funeral...Well my sister and i get into a big argument and i told her not to go over to our relatives and interfer on the funeral plans....so what does my sister and her JW friends do. they decided to preach to them and give them some tracts...well on the way over to find the house where the family meeting is located, my sister wasnt wearing her seat belt and the passanger side door open and she fell out and landed on the street. well she was ok and they never make it over to the relatives house to give them the good news.
anyone have any movie recommendations for me.

hi sandy, some interesting movies i enjoyed are hotel rwanda very moving flim...sideways fine acting...the chinese flims i like are...house of flying daggers...good action and love story....kung fu hustle and shaloin soccer both very funny.

humm...reminds me of this....well God first baked the first dude in the oven and he came out alittle white and pale..so God says opps undercooked....then God makes a second dude and bakes him in the oven and God gets a phone call...so God comes back and check on the second dude and he comes out somewhat black..so God says opps i overcooked this dude. next God baked the third dude and stood there and timed it so the dude would come out just perfect...well the dude came out nice and toasted brown and tan and God was pleased.

you don't automatically wake up with a headache on sunday morning.... you no longer go around (while in field service) mentally deciding what home you'll "have" after armaggedon.... every item of clothing you buy as a woman is not first assessed for its modesty value.... you no longer worry about the 144,000 watching you have sex...:).
when on holiday you don't have to find the nearest kingdom hall asap (remember brother and sisters you are not on holiday from jehovah!!!).
being able to laugh about having a numb ass at the assemblies from sitting and the hilarity in having to tell people that you found the meeting "uplifting" when really you were fighting sleep the whole time.... you no longer have to avoid entire sections of music stores in order to make sure you don't pick up and "demonistic" vibes from backmasked cd's.

my wife is getting baptized on the 19th.
there is nothing i can do or say to stop it.
we have 3 children, and i am from a broken home, so i can't imagine divorcing.
