NGO ? Please help!

i've only just joined but i would be grateful if you could give me some information on this ngo business.. i live in england, am completly ignorant and no nothing about the un (everything i learnt in school went in one ear and out the other as did much else i learnt!).

i would be grateful if someone could explain what ngo is exactly and how jw's were involved with it.. much appreciated.

the dilemma facing apostate jehovahs witnesses, or apostate dubs, as i have dubbed them, (no pun intended) is the very fact of their seeming success.

one of the great ironies of the apostate movement, that presumptuously boasts of "know the truth about the truth," is that apostates themselves are bound by the watchtower's own interpretive shortcomings, and hence are massively ignorant of jehovahs judicial decisions regarding his organization.

in that the presumption in operation is that if enough scandal and error can be brought to light regarding the governing body, the watchtower society's teachings, as well as individual jehovah's witnesses, then that somehow means that jehovah's witnesses have no connection with jehovah god.

You DO doged the question... simple like that. You did not answer, you posed another question. I do not believe that what you did is answering the question. As for being a JW for many years, I tell this to you: THEY DID NOT GIVE ME ALL THE INFORMATION o I did not make a thourough investigation. I was 16 years old!. I did not know about all the failed profecies (I have all Russell's books now), I did not know about the Rutherford's letter to Hitler. I know now about the mexican affair. I did not know the history of this organization. If I had known I would have not been converted. I understand now why the branch here made me smuggle things for them into my country & they asked me not to say anything to anybody (I saw with my own eyes while they paid a bribe to a person in the customs). So do not tell me that I have to accept this organization as being from God. It it out of love for God that I have taken this position. I am only grateful to them because they gave me some more knowledge of God & a desire to serve him... truth is TRUTH, no an illusion my friend.

I have spent some months reading your posts & not answering any, but I DO want to answer this. Neo Madman gave you an excelent reason for not believing WT allegations, but you dodge the question, is that the way you reason?, that is faulty reasoning. That kind of answers are only satisfactory in YOUR mind, you HAVE TO PROVE that there is connection between the WT & God... THEN we believe you. You say "It is more reasonable to believe that you are faithless", I DO have faith in God...please be reasonable & give Neo Madman a satisfactory answer, not for your mind, but for all the minds that are reading your posts. If this language was my native one, I could have a better argument with you...

Currently we do not have any specific dates however, our channel planners suggest you keep a close eye on the schedule as this may change.

I won't cut my beard!

some time ago i learned of the un affair & saw the truth...i am fading away now so i have not been attending meetings regularly for some time, specially the book study.

two days ago, i learned that a letter was read in my book study regarding personal attire, and it was said that one should not grow a beard (this letter was not read in any of the other book studies).

they say you are not a good christian, you are not spiritual, if you grow a beard.
