my daughter renee wishes to practice wicca, as she feels it is where she needs to be spiritually.
this is serious business for herit is not a whim, or passing fancy.
she did some internet research and began observing some of the things she found: phases of the moon, burning certain candles for various situations and so forth.
There is also a new book called " A Year and a Day" its a great reference book and starts out with some basic stuff.
all of the books mentioned ver very good.

my daughter( 28 yrs old now, she disassociated herself when i got df'd---she was 15) received a letter from my ex (her step father).
he writes about missing her and wantiong to know what is going on in her lifeetc.
of courese, the disclaimer reads: " if you ever want to return to gods organization, please call me, becasue thats the only way we can ever have a normal relationship.
I have also since heard that there was some mention at the convention about being"kinder" (gulp) Always manipulating. Dont they ever get tired of that!

BASTARD! He has not spoken to her in 15years and outside of a brief visit a few years ago when my grand daughter was born, and then to only tell her the same crap
Since the WBTS is the decsion maker in his life, I am thinking that he must have received " permission", either though some article or other avenue they use to initiate contact with such a evil df'd person.
anybody know of any such campaign?

my 5 year old starts school in aug at the same time my wife and i are facing the crisis of leaving the wt.
to any who left the wt with small children how did you handle things?
how do you handle holidays?
I have not posted ina while, but you really tugged on my heart strings, panic! My kids were teenagers when I left, and I have since learned that they stretched it as far as they could in school to be like the other kids, and always feeling guilty after sneaking a birthday cupcake or pretending to make a wish list for Santa.
So, rest assured, you are saving your children a world pf grief and guilt. Keep talking to that counselor and then: Let is go

when you were a devout jw, and if you would have met a man/women that really pleased you, would you have quit the jw organization for that person, if he/she asked you to?
I did, too,
Been with him for 12 years, for years he was my only friend after the DFing. Now we have wonderful friends and I dont care what they believe or wear or what their kids are watching on TV.
.
for an oldie i'd pick audrey hepburn singing moon river ... mmnnnn, i never get tired of that.. currently i'm listening to norah jones an aweful lot.
she is very easy on the ears and is my "audible-heaven" right now.. so who's voice makes you 'melt' ?
Andrea Bocelli

do you beat yourself up about things you should've, would've, could've done with your life, instead of becoming one of jehovah's witnesses.what regrets do you have, if any?
what are you doing now to overcome your regrets?.
blueblades
Mostly I regret staying in the religion several years after I knew this was not for me
I regret letting "them" tell me my children could not watch certain TV programs, go to dances, join the swim team , go to college.
