i'm trying to invest in a company.
i've been doing a lot of research and have been through balance sheet, flow sheet etc...etc..etc...with lots of companies...lots and lots of companies.
... there is only one (thus far) that i have found that has showed a steady growth in it's company progress minus all the debts and liabilities and blah blah blah.. it's so good that it's return on equity is at 36% ...it's p/e is at 19 (not bad for fast grower not that it matters because p/e ratio shouldn't be the reason you purchase a stock) ...it's increased profits by billions in the last 4 years....without any losses, bankrutpacy etc.. .. everything about this company has screamed it's progress is good.
Do you like the company?
Buy it.

As Sir82 mentioned, people can mis use anything. Invest in Ford? People speed, kill, or get killed.
One word of caution: Don't dump a disproportionate amount of your cash into the company at one time. Steady investment over time into a company that performs like this one is what pays off in the long run.
after listening to my family members go on and on about the new light regarding the generation, coming home from the convention all ramped out because "the end is so close you can feel it, it's just around the corner", i finally realized it.. they'll never see it for what it is.
even if the organization goes down, they'll sink with that ship.
there is not a rational person that could swallow the new generation overlap teaching and really believe it.
Their hearts have been "conditioned".

when i come to this forum and read the topics of the day, it disturbs me that some always have objections and comments that are negative.
what source of encouragement is there when one breaks down the story of others?

as a former jehovahs witness (20 years) and as someone who auxiliary pioneered several months every year for half the time i was involved in that organization, i know for a fact that most jws actively pray for the destruction of most worldly people.
if you really think about it, its a warped, awful and sick mentality.
oh boy i cant wait for the vast majority of people on this planet to die by gods hand because they dont believe what i believe!!

I don't remember that hairy. I suppose you could say that they prayed for God's Will to be done, not knowing what that Will really was, other than the destruction of "wicked mankind". The definition of "wicked mankind" is still an area they have difficulty coming up with.
4 generations deep here, and none in my family had the hope for any to be destroyed.
The ones that did look at things the way you describe, were thought of as "limited" in intelligence.

can this argument be used by religions like watch tower that often change the slant of their doctrinal interpretations to justify the change?.
