Being raised a JW, I was never exposed to gospel type music. Enjoyed Elvis' tunes. But I have to say that when I hear "Amazing Grace" played on a bag pipe or by a piper band, it chokes me up. Leanne Rhymes sang it a capella on a late night talk show, Leno I think, and wow!! It was beeeeautiful.

What kind of positive proof would you need....

What would it take to convince you that mankind was intentionally created by a powerful and intelligent creative force? What kind of proof would you personally require? I see two different questions here. I basically answered the first. At this time, I sense that there is an inteligent creative force at work. I don't need more proof than what I see as inteligent design, all around me. To call that individual a "God," makes it that "big man in the sky" kind of deity. To prove that to me, that "God" would have to clearly communicate with mankind on a much larger scale than the methods used in the different holy books. It would have to be much more personal.

Direct and clear communication with his inteligent creation. No tests, riddles, mysteries, etc. I know to some, that may lack humility on my part, but that is how I have felt for some time.

Smell like a jock strap or like a perfumed girl? Shower Soap ?...
by Little Drummer Boy inon the strength that my recent post concerning cheetos went to 3 pages and was referenced in at least 3 other threads, i feel that the time has come to discuss another most important topic: shower soap.. this thread topic most definitely falls under the category of intellectual starvation topics, so you should be forewarned that terry will not approve.
heh...(just funnin' yah terry).
to the point: i here refer to a liquid soap meant to be applied to a wet shower poof and then scrubbed onto the skin.
