I think having women serve as menstrual servants would be great for communication thoughout the organization.

This was a "curious" lesson. When I sat there and listened to the questions and answers, it seemed to me that this is more groundwork for "sifting." It will become apparent by your actions, whether or not you are a JW......this tells me that soon, "inactives" will be dis associated merely by not measuring up. Boy, won't that be fun for the body of elders.

"large but mainstream" brings what changes next?

in some other threads there has been talk of wether the organization will go large and mainstream or small and hard-core in the upcoming years.. in the past few years, the sunday public talk has been shortened, the bookstudy eliminated (at least as a seperate meeting night), #2 talks are down to a simple read-through, and a little longer ago pioneering hour requirements have been shortened.

personally i would take these as signs of them going more soft and keeping a larger membership.. if this is indeed the case, what would you suspect of being cut off or changed next?.

A JW in X-Factor!

i saw today that one of the contstants in the danish x-factor is a jw, and she is quite good!

a tabloid had a newspaper where she described her faith, she sounded quite nice and said she had never been teased by her faith.

sorry, to be so blunt- for a whole day i have watched people here patting themselves on the back- we're a large army, oohh, look out wt, we might do something, well not today or tomorrow, but someday!

maybe, i have to just accept that a lot of jw's who are exiting the kh by the back door will never find a backbone to stand up to mummy and elder daddy.. jw's have a learned ability to see themselves in a better light than everyone else sees them.

ask a jw, if they are a charitable religion and they would likely all say they are, but when pressed to name a charity they will be unable to do so.
