  it is in the nature of man to want to have more than one woman.. a man cannot help himself.

  he was born that way.. if it was legal, men would have multiple wives, two, three, maybe ten if he could afford it.. that's all.. jdw .

  How long did Conventions used to be?

  i remember as a child in the 1980's attending four day conventions.

  i know in the past conventions were even longer.

  does anyone know how long they use to last and the approximate years?

  If the GB can pack out Assembly Halls for 'Special Days' when nothing new is presented then you have to think not much with shake up the Sheep.

  The meetings have become nothing more than a networking/network marketing program, and a place where men can maintain control of their women.

  last month i got word that a witness i had known had died suddenly.

  i hadn't spoken to her since my disfellowshipping six years ago, but we had been good friends.

  upon learning of her death, i wrote a letter of sympathy to her fleshly brother, also a witness, who had been a good friend of mine as well.

  I don't think you have waited long enough to receive the desired appreciation for your thoughts...it takes along time for some to morn, gather their thought's and return communications. If you do get a response, I'm sure it will be a nice witness, and an appeal for you to return to Jah's org.

  you know, the dc that good jws are supposed to get all tingly about when you mention that 1/4 million of them were in the same place.

  the whole thing is non-remarkable, standard, "ain't the new order gonna be great" drivel.. turn the sound down.
