well i am 0 for 2 with my predictions so far
so based on that it will be russia and italy in the other semi
at which point i will probably stop watching.

i have to say..that i don't really like anyone individual team or person dominating a sport (mostly cos none of them are english)...
but the way tiger played since lunchtime saturday had me rooting for him..(well.. once lee westwood was out the running)
no matter how much you want to avoid it...crying is necessary sometimes.
for me, i need help with it....too many distractions in my life.
i almost have to plan crying....so for me music aides in releasing emotion, helps me just be me for an interval of time.

i was speaking to my mom on the phone yesterday, and despite my trying to avoid it, we got to talking about wacky jw topics -- again.
actually, it was nearly unavoidable, since she had just returned from her summer convention.
aside: nice way to celebrate your wedding anniversary, mom & dad; at an assembly!
as an elder i was really excited when this was announced...
but the general attitude of the body that i was then attached to was...oh great more work for us...why should we show mercy to scum.
as a result not much effort was put forward to find df-ed ones.
more often than not reasons for not calling were looked for.
i did get a call when i was df-ed but then i was attending all the meetings. as wth all elders there are those who care and there are those who dont.
when i was reinstated i wrote to the gb with my thoughts on the 'once a year' arrangement and how it was generally treated by the bodies of elders that i had served with.
the gb would definately fall into the 'dont care' category.
but i dont suppose any of them have actually done any searching
