we had an interesting local needs.. first it clearly stated if you are not making all the meetings you will not make it in to the new system period no exceptions.

saying you can not disobey once, or else you be left stuck in the bottom of the red sea.. from now on the elders will be making shepherding calls on those that are not attending regularly.. also, it was stated that if you know of any not attending regularly.
Back in the day, 20 some years ago, our congregation would announce at the end of the book study "such and such hasnt been attending the meetings, can I get a volunteer to call on them and encourage them?" Of course they had the congregation do the dirty work insted of the Elders doing their job!
I dont have to worry about it. Its been over 3 years since they df'd me, and I havent had one sheepherding call yet!
my bf and i have been together for about 2 years.
he has this ex gf from college who he stayed friends with.
i am not the jealous type so i never cared even though he had a problem with me being friendly with my exes.
I guess Im the only one that would reply.....Both me and my Bf, get along with our ex's. But if one of them stepped over the line like that, I wouldnt be able to hold back. But thats just me. I have no tolerance for people like that! But I guess the right advice is to leave it alone.

so, i decided that when i have get a study i would research all the questions as i go along so as to prove everything in the truth... i got 4 studies in about 2 months.
all was fine, until i reached i think chapter 6 in the bible teach book about the resurrection.

The elder that df'd me was sitting at Apple bees with his wife. When he saw me sit down, about 20 feet away, him and his wife got up and moved as far away from me as possible! That was pretty stupid! Maybe he thought I would contaminate his food!

and i believe in them i don't beleive that either sex should dominate over the other .
on the grounds that every one is master over thier own body, and so to demand loyalty in the use of anothers body seems wrong.
I know this much, in order to be in a strong relationship, and practice that kind of life style, there is no room what-so-ever for jealousy! You really have to sit back and say, its just sex! It can actually boost your sex life with your partner too, if you both have the same understanding. (not that I'm speaking from experience here!)
