Re: Are we completely sure Trans people don't just have a mental disorder?
Who's this "we" you speak of?
so i thought i was a pretty accepting person.
sure i grew up in a bigoted cult who hates gay people.. now i'm an atheist who has no reason to care about anyones sexual prefferences.. .
but i've watched inverviews of trans people.

i find it interesting to see, not just the state of people's beliefs, but how sure they are of them.
or asked another way, what is the percent chance people feel they are wrong about their current beliefs.
so state your current core beliefs about jws, christianity, god, and a percentage 0-100% of how sure you are that this belief is correct.
One of my favs from a brilliant and unconventional thinker.

The most dangerous people around are those who are convinced they have it all figured out.
Ditto that
i'm leaving this pretty open, but the last great deal i got was a new-quality steif plush (about $70 dollar value, i'd optimistically guess, when it was new).
for about 2 or 3 bucks.
at a yard sale i think.
$75 for a brand new AKG C2000 condensor microphone. Not bad...
this would be considered a strong indicator of mental illness.
but if it causes you or others no concern it can be quite harmless.. .
lol
My ath gets thor from riding my bike thometimes...
this is a serious question.. i know people that hear/feel god (and see postings about people's experiences), but i have not experienced this.
i have never heard anything audibly (or otherwise) nor "felt" anything inwardly.. i've prayed, read, quieted my thoughts, etc...but still nothing..
See, you guys tend to parrot one another, and then some of you wonder why I think you're adopting ideas off one another.
And christians don't? Would you now know the "real" name of jesus had you not come here?

Who is misled?
<!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } p { margin-bottom: 0.08in } a:link { so-language: zxx } --> hi everyone:.
i am armageddon messenger, the one that jesus said he would send to tell "you" the things coming.-john 16:12-14. .
as it should be expected, the governing body of jw's are not willing and will not accept me as a "prophet" because according to them, jehovah only communicates trough them.... .
This should be good...

Thanks for the pic Nugget; nice to put a visual on the logic.
i definitely support science, i think that the entire field is fascinating.
the things that have been discovered and that will be discovered in the future is mind-boggling.
i do wonder, however, if there is some things that science can't explain.
It was after all just a dream state.
Exactly. Dreams are the subconscious wandering freely outside the perimeter of rational conscious thought. You may find answers to problems you have or meet/talk/interact with "supernatural" entitities that live in your belief system, but really, it's all just in your head. All the answers you need are with you already.
