As has been mentioned or alluded to, there is some good in everything. Not every person who believes in the jw faith is evil.
For those whom the world had forsaken from the beginning, it is a path to something where there was nothing.
It is not the only path, nor is it mine but it is for some.

What if the god of the bible is real?
If he/she/it is, it ain't a god worth worshipping IMO. Like most gods, they are a reflection of the writer and/or religious beliefs of the time.
What if there is a creator who is not the god of the bible?

Does consciousness end with the death of the body?
Since consciousness is a function of the brain, it would follow that consciousness ends with brain death.
