she says that she can't date outside the religion.
i'm pretty sure that jehova's witnesses are a branch of "mainstream christianity" (meaning they just basically follow the bible, not have a different interpretation like like mormons).

Can someone tell me what the hell is going on.?? My boyfriends Mom is visiting and she cornered me into going to the frigging hall. Saying she was uncomfortable driving a stick. Now get this I had no idea my boyfriend had been disfollowshiped until she leaked it on the the way home.(I had posted a few months back regarding how they were keeping him in long meetings and he was freaking out about armageddon)
But anyway, I took her to the hall and they had a special annoucement they read a offical letter from the WBTS (thats really the only time I paid attention) It read something like: If anyone has lost a loved one or belongings that were from the Nazi prison camps please see a elder. I think they want to pay them or something.It seemed really odd. What is that all about..
It wasnt enough to just take her and sit in there, she also stayed for
the freaking BOOK STUDY they actually ask questions from the audience but get this..They give you the answer in the same paragraph they its almost like they dont want you to answer from you own mind...there was alot of brainwashing going on.ITs sick to hear those little kids answering questions that are already written in the watchtower ?? They keep saying dont worry about being purseacuted because so was jesus.because JW is the only true religion.

Not really, However I have managed to confuse my self with too much info. In my quest to find the truth I have researched every thing.
From the scholars who translated the bible all the way back to the spanish inquestion (however you spell it).Every thing I research is some how connected to the WTBTS and its cultist ways.

The Blood Issue
by dutyfree ini have a question about the infamous blood issue, which i am sure will be very easy for some people to answer.. in the bible, niv, nwt, kj or whatever, the line, '...you should abstain from blood...' is taken literally by the witnesses and they do not take into account other scriptures whilst reading it.. what other scriptures are there in the bible to support the theory that the writer's intended meaning was not to take it literally?
so, in other words, i have argued with jws that it means to not drink blood as there were no iv needles around then to inject the blood into the veins.
but are there any other scriptures to back this up?.

Leviticus chpt 11 gives very clear dietary rules..there might be something in that chapter in regards to blood..but I am not sure.

How is mentioning freemasons getting caught up ? I am sharing what I found from more than one source. Have you all seen the Headstone of the founder of the JW ? Looks kinda MASONIC to me but I am no expert
on the subject.I agree that all the diffrent translations contain errors, but the real issue is that the same type of things are omitted from one bible and not the other.
The point is the JW is a cultist type of religion. Which is why there
bible is tweeked. I just thought I would share some interesting links
in case anyone wanted to read up on the translations of ALL.

The Minority Texts omit approximately 200 verses from the Scriptures. This is equivalent to 1st and 2nd Peter. Pause and consider that stunning fact!
The Minority Texts contradict themselves in hundreds of places.
The Minority Texts are doctrinally weak and often dangerously incorrect.Proof of these astonishing allegations will follow in Part Two where we will take a close look at some 80+ Bible verses corrupted by the Minority Text.
Yet, startling as it may sound, virtually every modern English Bible relies on the Minority Text as its underlying New Testament text in preference to Textus Receptus! Isn't that an amazing revelation? What brought about this almost incredible switch from the reliable Textus Receptus, beloved by the early Christian church and the Protestant Reformers, to the corrupt minority text favoured by the Roman Catholic Church?
