Despite being a good little dubbie, I was valedictorian of my high school class. My speech got a standing ovation.

Young witness disfellowshipped for having a mental illness
by What-A-Coincidence inthis is was very hard swallow.
i know of a family who has suffered tremendously when their son (15) came down with a mental illness - he cuts himself, has intended suicide 5 times.
he hard a hard time dealing with so many issues that he at one point told the elders i don't want to have anything to do with the jehovah's.

you're right. I worked in a classified lab (defense) for several years, and anything that left the lab with storage (memory card, hard drive) was first put through a "schredder". But, for normal people, there are programs that effectively wipe the hard-drive (basically re-format the drive several times). -silent

the Revelation -- Grand Climax book is 18 years old. WTF? I feel old :-( I wonder if the Harlot (Bablyon the Great) will age in the reprint. Wasn't the Revelation Book an update for the "Finished Mystery" book? In Finished Mystery, the harlot was pretty young. In Revalation -- Grand Climax, she was looking a tad worn. In Revelation -- Even Grander Climax at Hand (to be published in 2007), I bet Bablyon will have gray hair and a walker. :-) BTW - in 2034, I predict they will be yet another reprint, entitled "Revelation -- Earth-moving, leaves you gasping, climax at Hand".

The Single Most Dangerous JW Meeting....in my opinion!
by enlightenedcynic inthe way i see it, pretty much everyone here knows that the 5 weekly meetings, the memorial, the dc's and ca's are all a bunch of rubbish and jibber jabber.
there is still one other meeting, not as frequently held as the others, that jw's use very effectively to control existing members and bring in new converts and this meeting sadly plays apon the emotions of all in attendance.. what meeting is this?.
