this makes sense. ever remember how difficult it was to place some watchtowers, especially the "witness-centric" ones. I always pitched the Awakes in my presentations. easier sell. The general interest articles in the Watchtower were usually "biblical" in nature, and sometimes mildly interesting -- articles about the finer points of Hebrew and Greek grammer were actually informative (I've impressed people with my knowledge about the 4 greek words for love). I could see the public Watchtower becoming an "Awake" for the bible -- articles about greek and hebrew grammer, and impact on translation into the vulgates of today. And Awake still being the more "general purpose" magazine (science, general interest articles). The "internal" Watchtower will become a 32 page Kingdom Ministry. Actually, I would assume the KM is more likely to be folded into the new "internal" Watchtower. Study articles for Sunday, and other articles for the Service meeting.

My Bethel Experience part 13
by new boy inmost of us went back to bethel, thinking we wanted to make it our life long career......what better place to be right before 1975?.............that dream ended for the vast majority after just few months there, when they found out that something was very wrong.
other wise why would anyone want to leave a spiritual paradice?....
with only 2-5% staying after there 4 year commitment, and a very big percentage leaving before there time was even up.

by Mulan inshe will probably kill me for posting these photos, but i can't resist.. last thursday, our rachel (princess here) and one of her friends decided to dive into a local lake and do a polar bear swim, despite the fact that the temperature was in the teens and there was fresh snow from the night before.. here are a few photos.
you can see the snow on the ground and notice everyone else is bundled up.. .
this is before she dove in.

Subaru Impreza WRX -Funnest car to drive ever! ---- from my personal experience, yes they are. I had one of the custom yellow ones (500 made in 2002). Then, it was destroyed in a freak flood. :-( So, I had to buy a replacement, and did tons of research on good used cars. from your list, I'd go with the BMW. BMWs get solid marks for reliability. I went with a 330i myself, and so far no problems. The only downside is that if something goes wrong, repairs can add up fast. In terms of reliability, a good used Camry / Civic / Accord / Corrolla would be the cheapest to maintain. And are overall dependable, if not spectacular. edited to add: AVOID AUDIS LIKE THE PLAGUE. Audis tend to have electrical problems (approximately 1 in 3 will have major electrical problems at some point in their lives.)

Going "Door to Door"..........
by whyamihere inwhen i was a teen going door to door, my "territory" was always the college area.
my choosing because i loved going back to the places i was the night before.
think of it - the last time they seen me i was either doing a beer bong or teaching people to do a beer shot gun.

too funny. I can feel the influence of Sah-tan here in Wisconsin. For example, silent has lived here in Madison for THREE years, and not seen a Watchtower or Awake. Then silent goes to Seoul, South Korea for a week, and gets informally witnessed to! ah well. now I know why. It's brooke's fault! :-p -silent

Do you rather an automatic or manual transmission?
by JH in.
my first cars were all "manual" and they were small cars, cheap on gas.. then later on in life, i spoiled myself and bought automatic cars.. last week, i tried a manual yaris, and wasn't that comfortable with the manual transmission.
maybe it's the fact that i didn't drive a manual car in 6 years.. just wondering if anyone here after driving automatic transmission cars since many years, if you would come back to manual..

I wonder which is faster from 0 to 60 mph, an automatic or manual in the same car..
---------------------------
manual -- but, only if the driver delays the upshifts.
anyhow, my car has manual mode, and a "sport" automatic mode which delays the upshifts...
