I come here after work, but I get a lot of e-mail from friends who are at work, supposedly "working", hahahaha. I usually give them "hell" .. and tell them to get back to work.

I truly hope the girl gets some extreme counselling, as she will probably need it for the rest of her life. Stories like this make me so angry, and sad. I too, think in cases such as these, there should be the death penalty. There is no room for this kind of abuse of an innocent child. These kinds of "animals" can never be rehabilitated, in my mind. It goes beyond a "sickness". It's downright "evil".

Took the munchkins to see NELLY last night...
by upside/down inyup it's true... i went to a rap/hip hop concert, "nelly".... took my daughter (12) and one of my sons (14)... i must admit that dude is ripped and good lookin.
i swear i couldn't understand one word they said... after 3 beers it was all good..... now i know where all the cute chicks are... holy hell!
they all dance like strippers... even the 10 year olds (very gross).... glad to say this didn't hold a candle to motley crue, u2, green day or even maroon5....(last week) and seeing the crue again in august at red rocks!

Way to go UD...as parents we sometimes have to do things for our kids we normally wouldn't dream of doing, i.e. a rap concert. Myself, I love all kinds of music, except old country/western....yuk!!!! Will never subject myself to that kind of music. But, depending on the mood, I like heavy metal, (Metallica, yeah, baby!!) Ozzy certainly still rocks....but I also love Nirvana, Green Day, Sum 41, Blink, oh and don't forget the Sex Pistol's, Stiff Little Fingers, Motorhead, you name it, I like it. Then I switch to quieter music, Celtic, is my favorite relaxing on a warm sunny day..... I love music.....except the Kingdum Melodies.....YUK.

Holy Mary mother of God.....and I thought it happened only in my KH.....There was an elder, who took to "counselling" a young, married sister, different ones noticed the attention they paid to each other at EVERY function. A brother mentioned it to another elder....turns out, elder #1 has a sordid affair for over 2 years, while elder #2 is meeting with 2 different sisters, one of which was my relative. Enter elder #3, who is also after my relative, and goes after her in the parking lot at the KH. Elder #1 finally gets DF'd, after denials for 2 years. Elder#2 absolutely DENIES everything, has to step down tho', seems he was drunk with a DA'd brother, hubby of one of the women he was messing with. Elder #3 gets private reproof, and the rest is swept under the rug. Very loving congregation it seems......

Awesome info here everyone....I am particularly intrigued with Frannie's suggestion of using epsom salt as fertilizer. We have had a terrible time with our rose bushes the past 3 years. Just yesterday hubby and I pulled out 2 more dead bushes. I am going to get the salts even as i type.....thanx again..

Oh how true!!!! Thank you Dansk for the lift ....I think it should be copied and left on the windshield of each and every car and van in every parking lot of every KH everywhere. God knows how down, how lost and forlorn most of us felt when leaving the KH after a meeting. I certainly didn't "feel the love" .
