why do some parents make hair cuts a big issue and some dont?
now my dad wants me to get my hair cut.
im so confused.
Tsunami, GO FOR IT!!!!! or try a short mohawk maybe???? My son just shaved his off after 4 months...the way I see it, I'd rather see the kids experimenting with their hair, than other things that are detrimental......and that has always been my view, even when I was regular at the KH.....

Naw, Ellie, it won't make your daughter vain...but I have to ask, at 2 years old, will she sit for you?? My daughter wouldn't sit to have her hair done, and I fussed with it a lot while she was young...I learned to do it on the lamm, lol...and she is not the least bit vain....she was quite the tomboy for many years. Then she began acting like a young lady, after the rugby and the amateur boxing stints in high school. lol. have fun...

it was all spelt out in evil-type letters, in fact it looked suitably demonic.. when i encountered him at another 'fest, his t-shirt slogan simply read: "no!

Or, "no, I don't wash windows OR clean offices anymore"

i just joined here so i'm not completely familiar with the forum code.
well, i'm going to be baptized in less than a month and i was wondering if i can find any friends among my peers or anyone around my age.
you see, my congregation was split up almost three years ago.
Hello, and welcome....a lot of good advice has been given...my wish for you is that you think long and hard before taking the "plunge"...you are young, and have a lot of living to do...i was baptized at 16 and was still too young....I lived to regret it. My own daughter was caught up in the "fever" of getting baptized, when all her friends were getting baptized at 13...thank goodness she changed her mind. Of the friends who did get baptized then, 3 are disfellowshipped and 2 simply "left" the "truth" and there are only 2 who are still going strong. You have a lot to live for, and even if you decide you still want to be baptized, at least give yourself the time to search it out, and make your own decisions,,don't be frightened into it, or coerced. This will be one of the most important, life altering decisions you will ever make...good luck, and all the best to you. Hope you stick around, and keep us posted....but I wouldn't be too quick to tell your friends or family that you are chatting here....

Well, I certainly wish them a wonderful, and long marriage....however, I think Cruise is desparately trying to hold on to his youth. He seems more like an older brother to Katie, than husband material....and I think it will be only a matter of time before she grows weary of his manipulating ways...ie. getting her involved with the church of scientology, and divorces him. Only my humble opinion....

Dear Meg: I am very sorry to hear of your breakup. How far gone is he? You mentioned that you didn't think it long before he is baptized, is he going over the baptismal questions yet? Are you two still on talking terms? Too many relationships are destroyed over this cult.....is it too late to reconcile, and TRY to carry on? While it's not always an easy road, sometimes it can be worked out....maybe yours can survive this also....my marriage worked out ok, but it wasn't an easy road....lots of curves, elders meetings etc., but in the end, we conquered the evil borg......good luck to you my dear....
