  How do you deal with "Injustice"

  like if you see 2 people doing the same things and not being treated the same way?

  You find it everywhere, not just in the WTS. People at work crab that others are treated better, and sometimes they are. You have to decide where you are going to draw the line in the sand. The best way is to be careful that you are not part of the problem and that you are as fair and just in your dealings with fellow humans as you can be.

  I agree. Growing up, I saw so many injustices in the congregation, other kids were getting away with everything, and all eyes were on me and my friends, who were struggling to "stay in the truth". Mom always said, "The law of averages catches up to everyone, just be patient." She was right. Most of those kids were DF'd, and we've never seen them since.

  Yup, it was Tim Horton's....where else? UNLESS, of course we were in the country, then any mom and pop restaurant would do, but only for a quick coffee and muffin. Not lunch.

  i'm "alpheta".

  i've been reading here for the past few weeks, but have visited from time to time over several years.. short history, i started studying in 1993, was baptised in 1996, and succinctly and with much planning disassociated myself in october, 2003.. i don't believe i have any lasting psychological damage or issues, but i was curious about the state of the wtbts (or whatever they go by these days), and i found your site and a lot of information that, i have to say, i found shocking at first like - oh my goddess, they really did that?

  - kind of thing.. anyway, nice to have read your posts and i really enjoy the sense of community here.

  Hamboozled said," That is funny!!! Prince is having a hard time with the "no oral sex policy"!!! LOL!!!!!! From the looks of him in that photo,( he's really looking haggard), I think he IS having a hard time....being a Witness seems to be taking it's toll on the poor man.

  i was wondering about everyone's position about this as i plan to throw a huge make-up birthday party for each of my kids this year.

  Celebrating the holidays came easy to me, as I remember celebrating them all, before my parents converted to J-dubism. It's such a good time for celebrating family too.

  I LOVE the holidays...so do my kids...I go all out in the decorating for Christmas, especially. I love it. Enjoy!!!

  hey everyone,.

  my hubby and i decided it is time to sell our little starter home and buy something a bit bigger.

  one reason we are doing this now is that my sister who is developementally delayed and lives in ny needs a new place to stay.

  I think sometimes it has everything to do with lack of friends, fear and guilt. After all, we've been told repeatedly over the years, bad association, the end is coming, where do you want to be when it strikes?, blah, blah, blah.
