I would suggest never under any circumstances putting your name and address in a public document. Who knows what kind of loon is going to read it and come and visit you?

There are people who, if they were to attempt to re-enter my life, I would avoid if they didn't apologise very early on for the way they have treated myself and my beloved star of a husband. An apology would indicate that they've made a very long journey and that we're now actually compatible for a renewed relationship. Without that there would be too much baggage, too many games, great big elephant in the room etc, and what's the point? Who has that kind of time?

My husband and I always celebrate this glorious festival in its traditional manner (getting naked, coating ourselves in honey and herbs and cavorting around a large bonfire under the waxing moon).

Why the government won't tell you a Killer Asteroid/Volcano is coming!!
by Witness 007 ini started a thread on yellowstone's super volcano having major tremors over the last week...also this week a meteor exploded over alaska causing a sonic boom.
in the movie "deep impact" president morgan freeman tells the world that a huge meteor is coming and life is about to end for many.
this would never happen in real life.

What's the point of a warning? What are you doing now that would be different if it was confirmed by the president? You can still store as much food and provisions now as you want. Or do you want the government to provide you a safe haven to camp in so that you can survive for as long as possible? Why is your life their problem?

by zarco induring a recent special day assembly program, ted said that woman in a physically abusive marriage should submit to her husband so that eventually her husbands may respond to their submission and come to worship god.
my family was completely shocked.
can you imagine the culpability and responsibility of this man who claims to speak for the christ to encourage women to get beat up as way to encourage their abusive husbands to come into the truth.

He has a minor cult following here, he always gives talks at the DC and they're rambling minor gossip kind of affairs. He pretends they're the inside story on what's happening at Bethel, but it's never very much it seems. There was a building program and that gave him material for years, like we all care what stage the apartment block is at. He gets standing ovations though.

"Worldly" people are never really your friends.
by easyreader1970 inthe wbts society teaches us that worldy people can never really be more than "associates", that they can never be your friends.
if they seem like they are you friends, this is mere trickery and they are either out for something or they will cruelly hurt you in the end.
this is what they teach, especially to young people who might be tempted to befriend someone in school.. now to tell people that it is best to associate with like-minded believers is one thing.

I don't get why I didn't ever think about that when I was a witness. It was everything you dreamed it would be, but you didn't want to dream for too long. People would talk about their dream house, but not about what it was built of. They wouldn't talk about how much time they'd have to spend growing their own food (we have a huge vege garden and spend many hours a week in it, but can still only grow 1/4 of what we eat, because we can't live on the same three vegetables for two months at a time.) They'd talk about how much they're looking forward to travelling the world in the new system, forgetting that everthing that' exciting about travel is going to be destroyed; all of the beautiful old buildings, all of the fascinating cultures based mostly around gods that aren't Jehovah and art that has pagan or demonic influences. All of the mountains have to be flattened to make room, and the deserts have to be irrigated from the lakes and rivers.
The more they think about it the more the have to suspend reality. It's easy enough to do, that is, Jehovah will have just destroyed all evil, so he can do a few miraculous things about diet and sanitation. He can make manna fall from the sky and we can make arrangements for people (women, presumably) to bury their waste outside of the camps. We'll have to go back to living in camps, it's efficient, and it's what the Israelites did. Here's the tickler; the Israelites wandered around in a wasteland, and then turned the whole continent into a wasteland. They didn't create a society of clear-skinned beauties living in rolling green hills with a montanan mountain backdrop under a friendly blue sky. They slept on mud, they wore the same sandals for a third of their lives, they walked two hours for water every day, they quit school at age nine, they lost all their teeth by age 40.
Anytime I describe the witness paradise as my personal hell, I'm not being dramatic.

I still dream about old JW friends and family sometimes. Nowhere near as bad as this guy I think. He could probably go to any cult counsellor though; same issues everywhere.
