The real message is STAY IGNORANT! If you become too intelligent, you might leave the BS society.

What is the husband's position in the family? (1)
Question should be changed to "What is the husband's proper sexual position with his wife?"
LOL

Witnesses sit next to me at the theater last night
by seattleniceguy inhad a bizzare experience last night.
i went to see the movie mr. and mrs. smith (which, by the way, was pretty decent).
my girlfriend and i showed up about 20 minutes before the show started, so we picked out some seats and then each went to the restroom in turn while the other watched the seats.

SNG--I know what you mean. I remember how I used to feel when I was a witless and I would run into disfellowshipped ones--makes me feel bad that I used to ignore them. What really ticks me off is the BS of how if people are shunned it will motivate them to come back--what a crock! Yes when people are rude to me it sooooo motivates me to want to become involved in the JW's again----NOT!

my first postapostate jdub spotting...
by kittyeatzjdubs inso me, matt and alllll of our friends were at the blue monkey (a bar in memphis), and we were just sitting around, munching on pizza and throwing back beers.
all in all, it was great.
i basically just wanted to get the point through that i was perfectly happy and that i didn't need the dubs to have fun and have friends.

Ignorant Dub Friend Just Don't Get It
by GetBusyLiving inman i spent two and a half hours chatting with a dub friend of mine about how messed up the wtbts is.
i explained to him that i'm agnostic too.
it was soo frustrating, he just couldn't get it.

I think EF hit it right on--they are too busy thinking about a good JW answer and not really hearing the information.

Name Some Trivial Things That Are Big Deals To JWs
by minimus inso many things come to mind to show how silly jws sound in reality.
for example, being allowed to pass the microphones is a big deal, especially to a young brother.
or being given the "privilege" of cutting the grass or working on a "quick-build" is really something special to a jw.

I remember sometimes getting a ride to the KH (when I was 12 or 13) by my friend's 22 year old brother and how it was a big deal to some people. Even though the KH was only a couple miles away and my 17 year-old sister was there also. So let's see--it was maybe a ten minute ride. My parents were not JWs so I needed a ride.

dropped wife off at convention this morn...
by tetrapod.sapien ini just got back home from dropping my wife off at the convention this morning.
i took the day off of work so i could celebrate the occasion of freedom from mass-delusional-cult-think-programming.
out on the porch, sun shinning, birds chirping, scotch in one hand, demon haunted world in the other.. as i was driving my wife to the convention grounds, she thanked me for all the help i had provided her in getting ready for the convention, and for driving her.

To all of you with active JW spouses--I wish you much success in winning them over and away from that nasty cult!

Does being a JW make a person physically sick?
by Gill indefinitely mentally and more than likely physically.. i have read on a few posts and freeminds about an increase of mental illness amoungst jws of between 2 and 40 % and it seems understandable considering the amount of stress being in the borg puts on people.. but what about physically?.
what are your experiences since leaving the borg?.
do you feel well and fitter than ever before?.

I believe stress contributes to cancer, and I know there are a lot of people--including younger people--who have had cancer from my old KH, several have died. I realize cancer is becoming more common--but percentage wise I believe it's higher than normal in the JWs.
