  Does anyone remember the pic about the apostates at end of 1000 yrs.....

  it was a picture about those who would take a final stand against the new world order like a camp outside of the true worshippers.

  so satan would be let loose for a little period and then anyone who agrees with satan ...ends up looking like keith richards with earings and is deserving of death.. anyone remember the pic?.

  goodness have i been missing out!!!

  i just signed up my daughter for day camp at a local church... they have daycamp, they have a music school, they have preschool, they have girlscouts, boyscouts, moms night out, family night, orchestra at the services.... the list goes on!!!.

  why why why do witnesses fight any social interaction at the church!!!

  That's GREAT, New Light, that you found this church. It sounds wonderful!

  Almost all Christian churches have childrens' classes where they are taught Bible stories, scriptures and songs according to their age level. The kids really enjoy these classes, as they are placed with children of their own age and that helps to make the learning fun. It's hard for the little ones to understand adult topics, and they have a hard time sitting still for so long. Teenage youth groups are so important too.

  The WTS religion should get a clue.

  Have you ever seen how they denounce charities that help worldly people?

  Yeah.......I once asked our JW relative-in-law what her religion does to help people in the community? Do they have food pantries, homeless shelters, free clothing closets, or meal preparations for the poor, etc? She replied, "we focus on the SPIRITUAL health of people, rather than the physical". (SPIRITUAL HEALTH?!? You mean as in false doctrines and out-in-out WRONG teachings?!)

  Let me tell you, my dear JW relative........if a starving-to-death person were asked to choose between a nice, big meal.....or a free home bible study........guess what? I bet he'd choose the big meal!! We need to take care of a person's PHYSICAL needs FIRST before anything else. Kinda hard to concentrate of a Bible study when your stomach in dissolving itself!!

  like myself, i know that there are many fathers here that have children, grown or young, that are still active jw's.

  i have 2 sons, 30 and 34. one is active the other is not.

  i know that i wll not recieve a call from them today.

  Boy, you hit a sore spot with me today. Our son became a JW a couple years ago......and sadly, I know he will not be calling his dad today for Father's Day. What kind of religion disallows their members to acknowledge their fathers on Father's Day?! The WTS prohibits ANY & ALL Holiday celebrations where family members can get together to fellowship with each other! Can't our son SEE this is absolute BUNK?! I just want to shake him out of his BRAINWASHED STUPOR!!

  I'm sorry......I'm just feeling very emotional today.....and feeling sorry for myself that our son has become so blind.....

  JW's always say you can use you own bible, true?

  i remember when i was young and still a jw we always said to the prospect"you can use any bible you want".

  is that really true?.

  could you use an niv or king james at the meetings?

  I can't imagine them liking the idea of a JW using any other translation besides the NWT.....since the NWT has been changed to fit their false doctrine.

  our jw relative is going to inherit a sum of money from her grandfather.

  my question is: does the jehovah witness religion "suggest" that inheritances be shared with the wts??.

  also, what are jws going to do with the incentive checks from our "evil" government??

  Also, what are JWs going to do with the Incentive Checks from our "evil" government?? They have nothing to do whatsoever with the government.....but will they accept money from it?

  I'm curious.....
