So it seems that the entire structure is weakening toward its enevitable demise.
Any one of these, though important can be covered up if everthing else is strong. However, the foundation is weakening and the prophetic timeclock is running out.

i was talking to an ex-bethelite who was at the 'big house' in the late 60s and early 70s and he mentioned that daniel sydlik was exiled (asked to leave bethel) for a couple years when he married his wife (who at the time was very young and very much his junior).
according to this ex-bethelite, his marriage was somewhat controversial and they didn't want it to stumble anyone at the time, so he still stayed in the nyc area, but just not in bethel?

I can't believe that some would not watch the fireworks.
Every bethelite with a view of the NY harbor would actually have a 'party' on the 4th of July and New Years with alcohol and the works. Even gb would invite people by on that evening. It was the thing to do since they had such a clear view of the fireworks against the NY City skyline. We would jokingly ask each other: "Are you going to Bro. So-&-So's New Year's party?" In fact, it was considered a special privilege if someone with clout invited you by.

Once I got myself so worked up that I jerked off in my bethel room, the morning of the memorial.
Good God!!! Now that's guilt. I could just imagine all of the anointed in heaven shaking their heads in disappointment. I swear that I thought that everyone knew it by divine inspiration.
By the end of that evening I was just worn out with guilt and worry. I never told anyone, but am sure that it took a few years off my life.
I eventually had many privileges which convinced me of god's forgiveness and mercy on a wicked soul like me.
i've heard this said by a few ex-witnesses in my three years away from the organization, and have sometimes said it myself.
sometimes it is said in the context of, "i'd like to move on, but i just can't stop thinking about them.
could it not be that one of the reasons ex-jws "can't stop thinking about" the organization -- and their past involvement with it -- is that they daily log onto this site, read about the society and talk about them?

he is very mean, takes my son's stuff, tries to trip him on his bike by putting a stick into his spokes, pulling his underwear up, cussing at him.
at first i tried to talk to him nicely, asked him to please not do mean things to other children.

Sit down with your son and pray for guidance.
Then with the help of your WT library look up some of modern day examples of full-time pioneer witnesses who had similar problems.
Afterwards, ask the local BOE for suggestions.
Next, go out in field service and then to all of your local KH meetings.
This should work!
If it doesn't then you and your son are demonized and should be disfellowshipped.

our witness family was obsessed with demonism.. at a very early age, i was introduced to strange stories of demonism.
a brother in the congregation had brought home a souvenier doll from a tropical island as a gift for his daughter.
the daughter would talk about how the doll would come to life, but the stories were dismissed and attributed to the child's imagination.
When I was in WT HQ there were several factions:
1. One was headed by a GB who believed that the entire Star Wars series was totally demonic. He even gave a special lecture at bethel about how the Jedi represented demons under the control of their Satanic leader.
2. Another group was totally against Star Trek, same type of reasoning.
3. Yet another group focused on demonic rock and roll. They researched every Beatles, Led Zepellin, Queen album for some type of demonic influence. What really got me was when they hit the Satanic motherload of all music, RAP. It took me years before I would not change my radio station when Stairway to Heaven came on.
It was still interesting because for every group there was another group that totally supported Star Wars, Star Trek, rock music.
So you see, even at the big house the demons can get into some and not others.
