  A question about wireless internet connection....

  ... we have left it unsecured, that is, no password to access it.

  i know this means that someone near by can use our connection, but what are the dangers of this, if any?

  I will make the assumption that most, if not all wireless devices offer the same features. Make your password and SSID as long as possible. use letters (upper and lower case), numbers, and other characters (#$%^&*). If you can add your wireless MAC address to a MAC address filter do that also. If it is possible to turn the beacon off, do so. Change password and SSID periodically.

  Just recently I dug up an old photograph. A picture of me with 7 other Bethelites and three sisters....in a hotel room. These girls were from down south. For some reason I am thinking Mississippi, but could very well be wrong. One of the girls was definitely under legal age and we had wine and beer with us in the room. Was an enjoyable evening of, uh, visiting.

  Is Higher education strongly discouraged in 2007 district convention?

  today in our rehersal, i met with our district convension overseer.

  he told us that college or higher education is now strongly discouraged by the society.

  i argued that such policy is not practical here in the philippines since most jobs now require some sort of college education unlike in other countries where there are demands on skills regardless on educational attainment.

  Usually, you have a bro or sis on stage confirming that college is nothing but a drunken orgy of frat parties and illicit sex. What no one sees, and it is failed to be mentioned, is how socially retarded those are that are raised in the "Truth" really are, so that when they get to college and are free from the chains of their overbearing parents they just go crazy on the freedom high and do everything they were never allowed to do or experience before in their lives. They have no social gauge or self-control in which to say, "I'm not goig to down that half bottle of Captain Morgan and then screw 3 different guys." - it just isn't there. They are away from home for the first time, out from under the microscope of their parents constant JW watchfulness, and feel so free and high spirited that they go overboard all at once. Most kids aren't like this; my neice is going away to college and although Lutheran, is not the Devil's tool at all. She has been given freedom by her parents, but doesn't even have a boyfriend, smoke, or even stay out. She is too busy with her LIFE in band, school studies, choir, church youth activities, etc to be immoral.

  JW youth and young adults are completely socially retarded and clueless as to how to behave themselves around other people away from mommy and daddy's constant belittling. I know, I was raised in and used to be a social retard just like the ones you see in your local congregation, and I went to college as well. I think I know what I'm talking about.

  When I was at Bethel I seen this same thing in varying degrees with a few other guys there. They were so sheltered that even Bethel was a social shock and they got carried away with the "freedom" they had there compared to home.

  yes, especially with the company credit card. Quite a few years ago one hotel I stayed at a lot, always tipped the bartender really good. One night I got in after the kitchen was closed. Due to tipping so well, the staff got a few items out of frig and microwaved for me, enough to tie me over to breakfast.

  If I frequent a place a lot, I always tip well. It does pay.

  Ciro Aulicino - Watchtower Man for Life

  using various online databases i looked up what was available on ciro aulicino who is well known for getting the watchtower signed up as an ngo with the united nations.

  the following information was returned.

  note that his residences have all been at watchtower owned addresses.. considering his age, and dependence upon the watchtower for most of his life, ciro probably won't be considering any change in his relgion!.

  A woman I dated and was living with for awhile, her previous bf stalked the both of us. We would be in bed and he would be outside calling her name. One time he just walked right into her apartment to "talk" when we and her kids were there... She eventually got a restraining order. He eventually broke into my place and stole thousnads and thousands of dollars of stuff. Even after all that, and after we broke up he was still stalking her and broke into her house also. A complete nut case and the one and only person I would completely enjoy terminating in a very slow process.

  About two months ago I was on a bus back to my car at an airport and one of the passengers tells me that I look like Eric Clapton (is he really looking that bad at this point in time?)
