  Witness parents choose to tranfuse baby to save life

  just wanted to share some exciting info on a recent experience of a witness couple.

  their young baby very unfortunatly was struck with leukiemia and requiered a blood transfusion to save its life.

  fortunatly the parents had enough sence and logical reasoning to save their babys life by listening to the medical staff and proceeded with the transfusions.

  This is truly a win for all. This child has the chance to brighten many lives and the WTS has/will hopefully lose it's hold on another family. I hope and pray that this child knows that it's parents didn't sacrifice it to the WT alter and that when the time comes he/she can make a better choice of faith and future generations can avoid having to make the same decision. An incredible story and I hope this child is okay and that the parents know they made the right choice.

  Is anyone here good a graphic design?

  i wish i was so i could do this myself but i am not.

  i had an idea come to me earlier today of a jw holding their hour record to their chest as they stand before god and god saying to the jw that he has been keeping track of their belief in him and he has found them lacking.

  can someone do a mockup of that?

  I wish I was so I could do this myself but I am not. I had an idea come to me earlier today of a JW holding their hour record to their chest as they stand before God and God saying to the JW that HE has been keeping track of their belief in Him and He has found them lacking. Something like that. Can someone do a mockup of that?

  No we are not Jehovah Witness or Later Day Saints.
  
  Amazing Facts is a non-profit religious ministry that doesn't
  receive subsidy funding from any denomination. Of course,
  we do have convictions regarding Bible truth and each have
  churches that we attend of which we are very proud. We
  try to keep this out of the picture since we seek to reach
  people of all faiths. Our goal is not to make denominational
  preferences foremost, but rather, focus on the Bible and
  allow people to come to their own conclusions and
  convictions.
  
  But, to answer your question, Amazing Facts is part of the
  Northern California Conference of Seventh Day Adventists.

  I searched online and they appear to be a multi-denominational Christian ministry focusing on science/prophecy. They are based in Northern California with another location in Canada. I just sent them an email asking for more info. It would be cool if this was a true christian group going door to door. I would join in a heartbeat. It appears to be very well organized.   I had a woman come to my door today that I thought was a JW. It was wierd she was by herself but I didn't think twice. She started asking me questions about faith and I asked her if she was affiliated with the JWs. She said no. She handed me a little booklet and asked if I was interested in a Bible Study. I said sure and made an appoitment for 5:30 tomorrow.
  
  Anyone heard of these people?

  Update to Shawn's story 2

  i have taken a break from the board for a week because i am just burnt out.

  i am still praying every day that the seeds i have planted grow but so far nothing is going on.

  this past weekend was really bad and she saw me when she got back from being with a bunch of jws.

  I know right now she is very confused and I can tell by talking to her and seeing her that she doesn't want to do what she is doing. I believe it is what she feels is right by Jehovah and that she has been "love bombed" by these people so much lately that she feels everything is going to be alright. It will only last for so long and I know that she is thinking in ways she wasn't before because of what we have talked about.
  
  I will continue being her friend and I will always be there for her. She cries when she tells me to let her go. She cries when she says that she needs to be a JW. She cries when I hold her and tell her to talk to me. It is only a matter of time before she cries alone and thinks about the choices she has made and sees that the people who she surrounds herself with are not ones that truely love her. Her family has been telling her more lately that they are there for her no matter what and I think she is seeing that is true.
  
  Tomorrow is her mother's birthday and I am interested to see if she spends it with her. I really hope so.
