If there is someone whom is a long time JW, how do you bring him back into reality or is that possible? How do you make them reflect that it is possible that they are wrong about the Bible Track Society? Anything you say they alway twist it around anyways with their prepared answers.

HOW to CONVERT a JW from their wacky ways
by Terry inhello friend!
you and i have something in common.
you and i are both faithful jehovah's witnesses.

Your right about what you just said but what about those who have families and feel trapped because they don't want to be shunned and lose contact with them! Those are the ones I feel sorry for.

Have you been rejected by your JW children?
by AlwaysSeeking init's been a long time since i last posted, but something recently happened that is making making me heartsick... i just learned that one of my children is engaged to be married.
all of my children are grown up and when they reach around 18 years old, decided to become jws.
they were quite young when i left the organization, shortly after which my wife and i separated.

Simple question that I always wondered about?
by omerp ini have noticed that at the kingdom hall there are no cemeteries around!
where do they bury the dead of the faithful jehovah's witnesses?
i'm not sure but if they are buried at the local cemeteries which are catholic, united church, etc... etc.... isn't that being a bit hipocrit to speak openly about these church right from the pulpit yet those churches are good enough to rest in peace?

Do Jehovah's witnesses visit the cemetery and if they do what according to their religion can be acceptable since they can't pray for their salvation, etc....

Yeah lovelylil but who owns these cemeteries? Since they are the only true religion if they bury them in someone elses cemetery then isn't that going against their religion since they are not to attend a service there when they were alive. -

Share your most embarassing moments
by DigitalFokus inyou have to be able to laugh at yourself sometimes.... here is one of my most embarassing moments.. i was in 7th grade and also the new kid in school.
this happened during one of our first big test's, i think it was my english glass but i am not sure.. i had bad gas for some reason that day and had been holding it in instead of "dusting the crops" in the hallways (which is a great way to shed your gas without having to claim it).
i am sitting in class trying to concentrate on the test while holding in my deadly gas with all the strength my buttcheeks could muster.

While I was taking a shower one afternoon my friend happened to drop over to visit. I didn't hear him come in so when I was done my shower, I just came out butt naked thinking it was just me and the wife at home alone and there he was standing right in front of me! I know its just another guy but its still very embarasing!

Hi
by OpenFireGlass infinally have the time to type more than a sentance.... .
my name is, mike warren... that's my real age in my profile...& yes that's my real pic.
though i was never baptized, i was raised in the silly religion... my parents started their study in early 1974 (at least i got 1birthday &1 christmas, not that i remember...) mom was baptized in less than a year after she started her study... it took my father about 7-8 more years to give up smoking, but he still made all the meetings & ruled with a leather belt.. i also have a younger sister that has faded (she got baptized).

I go here all the time to lurk and I find this place very interesting. I'm not a former Jehovah's witness but I do have a nephew and a friend who is and I got interested in them after my nephew didn't go to his grand fathers, my fathers funeral! It really took me back and then I wanted to know all about them. I seen the video Jehovah's Witness A Cult and learned about their beliefs. I strongly suggest you download this video. You can do a search for the video or download it using Kazaa or something similar. I myself am a practicing Catholic so don't all gang up on me. Ha ha!
