so, i'm sitting here sorting out my recycling since tomorrow is trash day, and i remembered something that happened years ago that gave me a chuckle.. it was a sunday botchtower study and the topic was things that we should be doing to prepare for life in the new system.

even as a child, i didn't answer from the magazine and they never knew just what i was going to say; they would usually not let me hold the mic myself just for that reason... .

i had been learning about recycling to preserve our natural resources in school (6th grade, i was 10) and had my comment ready to go:.

Our jobs as humans is to look after the planet not to destroy it!

Have the jw's ever considered what their dirty rubbish would leave for future generations? our great grandchildren might die at the age of 12 because of the pollution in the air!

Plant a tree, pick ap a few scraps of rubbish make a difference!

Funny story

one of my best friends lives in the same building as this single woman in the congregation i used to attend.

we'll call her "pam.

" this woman's father is an elder (he was on the committee that df'd me) and he lives in the building next to them.

Any "Miraculous" experience happen to you like the ones said at Conventions

i had to sit through those experiences at the convention, i was wondering, did any of you used to be one of those people on stage giving an experience about how something miraculously happened like getting the exact amount of money you needed to pay your rent on the day it was due?

i always hear the stories, but can anybody actually tell me something like this has happened to them when they were a good little witness?

and if it has, did these sort of "events" stop taking place after you left?

I can understand your thoughts there, many people would think that even i have. But the pedophile victems have not done anything wrong, I have a friend who fell victem to one, she was a very innocent child at the time and a very faithful and devoted christian. But remember there are those that do act against God's will, thus it hurts god to see us upset. But still god does not give us more than we can handle, there may be times when we feel that we are crushed by burdens but god is willing to help us through our times of struggles. There are also times when adversity can be a blessing in discuise! Yes my friend has suffered greatly but in the end she is a better, stronger person! She is having struggles with her faith right now, but it is slowely coming back to her and as she grows stronger in faith and is starting to regain trust in god she is coming a better person. Hebrews chapter 12 mentions about loving 'discipline' from our heavenly father. Those Pedophile victems are loved dearly by god. Evanescence *gone all lubby dubby christian AGAIN!*

ran into two jw's over the holiday weekend

after fading i didn't run into any jw's for quite awhile, now they are coming out of the woodwork.

i wasn't sure how i was going to handle things due to fading.

i seen one women at a yard sale and didn't know if i should say hello or not.
