What should I do?

i have three children and a wife who at times has severe back problems.
i have worked two jobs just to stay ahead of the bills and provide for my family.

I never have had to pay for a message for my wife.. do it myself! Taught my son to do massage as well and he is always being asked to perform! It's a great way to get to know people and be of service.

WHY does God fail to...

from the majority at least.. apparently according to the wt interpretation of god's own book...a prominent spirit creature who made himself satan became unsatisfied and left god.later untold numbers would join the devil.. now the only solution for the future of these 'rebels' would be for god to destroy them.. then the very first human creatures apparently also felt unsatisfied and withdrew from god.they got destroyed.. later god had to confuse the language of all humans because they were unanimously opposed to god.
those people too are history.. then god had an ark built because all flesh had left god's way except for a handful of people.. evidently god was not expecting any great number to actually join noah, otherwise god would have had noah build several arks!

what i fail to realize, i guess, is that we are far more alike than unique.
every now and then i will reveal some little fear or quirk or dream that i have only to find out that someone else has experienced the same thing!

I see your point and concur. Although the 14 years I was "in" was not them most fun times of my life, neither do I regret the experiance. If nothing else it does help to keep one from being haughty and proud of having "thee answer".

Could you describe what an interesting meeting would be like? Do you want your faith confirmed or challenged? Do you want intellecual stimulation or idiotic rote repetition? Do you want all to participate or have a "leader" dispense information (light?). Do you want social stimulation through diversity or would you prefer that the group be of same color, class and economic status (comfort zone)?
The last time I attended a KH meeting with my wife, it was identical to the one 25 years before. You can fill in which of the descriptions above probably fit what the meeting was like.

Dear SC,
You might consider getting a copy of Dr. John Sarno's book "Healing Back Pain, The Mind-Body Connection".
Consider why your wife is having back problems and all the stresses of "performing" in the live of a JW, especially the women.
Just food for thought.

Its interesting that Islam (which means "submission") sees all those who submit their will to the will of God (Allah in Arabic)are Muslims. So for a Muslim, Abraham, even Able was a Muslim and all Christians were (if they followed Jsus's teachings). Language is interesting that it manages to separate people and like different monitary systems, sets up artificial barriers to effective interchange.
Were there a small "remnant of faithful" throughout history, they would likely have not all had the label "Christian". Remnant can also mean one person.
