  i was playing monopoly tonight and thought what about a monopoly based game about the wts?

  you could buy the land, build kingdom halls, sell them for profit, then on the chance cards it would be called new light and you could get things like new kingdom halls or land or bad things like the wts decided to sell your land or they are begging for money and you have to pay them 100 bucks.

  you wouldnt get 200 for passing go because the wts doesnt give back.

  Hall's "For Sale" sign removed

  a while ago i posted about a kingdom hall in the area that had a for sale sign up.

  now, driving by the other day, i noticed that the sign was no longer there.

  so, i drove into the parking lot and the meeting schedule sign is still there and "kingdom hall" sign is still up.

  here's the situation.

  my wife couldn't answer some deep issues i've raised regarding a few of the wts's teachings and dishonest representation of historical sources.

  naturally, she attributes her lack of answers to her own lack of research and knowledge.

  I think this thread has gotten off course. There are many details of my situation and im not posting them on here. I am not looking for advice on getting the kids back. At this point it is all under control. They would be with us right now if we were ready. The grandmother is anxious to have them with us. She just has to see that her daughter is progressing in the truth. The problem is that shes procrastinating and we dont want grandma to catch on. The only person to this post was to find out what people think is going to happen when shes done studying but doesnt want to get baptised.

  Yeah long story but we dont want to go throught the courts to get the kids back we just want her to give them back to us we arent completely ready to take them back yet they are best off where they are right now . We just need about 6 more months then we will get them back and she can cut ties with the wts.

  Big stuff coming up. I need some people to prohpesize on what might happen. My wife has been studying with the dubs for more than a year now. In a couple of weeks she will be done with the second book. I guess usually this leads shortly to baptism. My wife has no intention of being baptised, she has had doubts about the wts all along and through our research together she is almost completely convinced that they are full of crap. Problem is that her mother has custody of her 2 kids and wont let her see them unless she is progressing in the truth. So my wife has to keep playing along until her mother gives the kids back, but what are the dubs going to do when shes done her study but doesnt want to get baptised? She just got on the school last week, and has never done field service, so she is definetly going slow. So, can anyone give me a prophecy of whats gonna happen? You can even say that your prophecies are from Jehovah, just dont say they are inspired, in case they dont happen. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

  Whats up with this cover? Why the dates of all the false prophecies on it ending with 2034? Does this mean the wt is fixing for 2034? interesting.

  is there anyone out there that is real good with history that could give me a timeline for the past say 3000?

  years that would list all the horrific things that were happening around a certain time period?

  im trying to show my wife that things are not that bad right now as the wts would like her to think.

  Are things really that bad?

  i was just reading a post from someone and it said that the world is a paradise now, we just have to accept it.

  it made me think, the jws are always saying how bad things are now and that they are just getting worse.

  so im wondering, are things really that bad?

  Yes there are still parts of the world where things are not all great. But remember how much bigger todays world is in comparison to 1 or 2 thousand years ago. The Americas werent even discovered by the eastern world yet. I think if someone could calculate how bad things were per capita say 1000 years ago, compared to today, as a whole people live a whole let better than they used to. The chances for a child born today even in a 3rd world country where things are the worst are still probably better than they were in years past. Im just guessing and i dont have any exact figures soi welcoe anyone to give me thier thoughts on this.
