elder snooping on facebook
by Cordelia inmy dad rang me last night really upset coz he had decided to go on facebook under a fake name to see what some people were up to in his hall and while he was there he decided to type my name in and he did not loike what he saw ie low tops short skirts the ex jw groups im on and also the night out i went on last sat with our very own sirona (a known apostate who apperently 'ruined my faith' according to my family).
anyway he's coming tonight to help me deactivate my account and i'm not going to he knows i dont want the 'truth' so why is he still trying to control me?.
and also like i pionted out these people hes checking out will not be happy hes been snooping and he can't see it just thinks he is helping them?.

you're right they control me coz i let them, its just so hard when they are so upset,
and also it is true if all your life you have obeyed people its hard to make our own decisions, i find that anyway.
but finally they do know where i stand and that i want nothing to do with the 'truth' and its awful coz the're so disappionted but i am 33 not 10 so its about time i behaved like it.

i have had the seeing your dead loved ones again too, its awful how they make you feel guilty,
and its hard realising it isnt 'the truth' and having family still in it.

thanks gys he has just gone i stuck by my guns just said fair enough it isnt nice to see them pics but im not deactivating my account.
you're all right how long has this been going on?? and also i have my own house i don't live with them and it is my life!
i know i've been a pain in the past and like someone said i either have to deal with it or stop moaning about it!
my dad ended up being lovely and apperently it was my brother who keeps 'finding' me on the internet and he is going to ring me soon... great!!
he wrote me a letter saying he knows i dont want the faith bt my 'associations have always been the problem and still are and it is really time i cut them off then you can associate freely with people who really love you#
so even tho im reinstated i still can't associate freely with anyone unless i'm living the good dub life!
ps anyone can set up a fake account, and i thought i was 'invissable'

thats exactly right if i had spent a week living and sleeping with my ex hubby i would not have married him!
and when i did i wasted ten years of my life with someone who hit me but i thought death or adultry was only way out so i stayed for years,
so glad i woke up and smelt the coffee!

My wounds opened up badly today
by Maddie inthe past three weeks having been so stressful and very sad.
my ex husband died after being in hospital for just over a week in intensive care.. i was just 18 and he was 21 when we first met and after a whirlwind romance we married 6 months later and have two sons together who are now adults.
although our marriage ended after 25 years and i remarried 7 years ago, he was my first love and i knew him for most of my life.

i'm so sorry...
is there any chance your younger son could talk to the older one? if you are not dfed or anything he is taking things to the extreme and although i don't know them it sounds like your daughter inn law is the force behind it they can be powerful things!
have you tried writing or anything?
sometimes its easy for me to think i am the only one with a brain washed family then i hear storys like yours and realise its the in the whole dub kingdom the world over...what gets me is why can't they see it?

Hi i'm back..again!
by Cordelia inhi everyone i haven't been on here for a year!
i've just been looking at some of the topics i started god i was mixed up... since getting reinstated i left and went back twice even had a bible study again at one piont!
all for my family, i love them so much they do so muxh for me and love me but show quite clearly how brokenhearted they are that im not at the meetings that makes me feel bad so i go back... after a little while thats not good enough they want me to go with the right heart condition and 'do it properly!'.

thanks again, it does help reading your replies,
i like the scrip reference scully and thats what i was doing 'limping on 2 different opinions' and like someone else commented i am hurting them more as when i cave and say right i,ll go back, then i hate it it hurts them again, they have said its my attitude which hurts them the most..
my brother 2 years younger left when i got dfed as he thought it was ridiculous which it was, so my family feel like they 'lost 2 children', but as he isn't 'apsotate' they can deal with it more but it still upsets them as he 'is going to die at armagadon!' guess i do have to be more careful about what i say.
mind you they say some weird things like, my other brother has heart probs but is really spiritual, my dad said to me 'isn't it a shame that jason has a weak physical heart but a strong spiritual one and you and your other brother have strong physical hearts and a weak spiritual one?
he'd prob perfer me to be ill but strong spiritually!
