  I liked this part, I asked my jw about it too. "if you guys expect the end everyday are you actually prolonging this old system of things?" - "I fell back on an old reflex to comfort myself — remembering a scripture about the Day of the Lord coming as a thief in the night, surprising us when we least expect it. Surely the end couldn’t arrive while Twitter was calling for it.

  in a video on the jworg website, governing body stephen lett says that as of december 20, 2020, 7,500 jws have died from covid-19.

  strangely enough, the cult never mentions the number of jws who die from refusal of blood transfusions each year… hypocrite..

  so my brother recently became df.

  he has full intentions of being reinstated, but it is going to take at least a year.

  if the end times occurs while he is df, will he still be allowed in the kingdom of god?.

  Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.” NLT

  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. KJV

  hint, the Lord is Jesus. (not what the perverted jw doctrine says inserting jehovah where it doesn't belong)

  'Everyone' and 'whosever' doesn't seem to imply anyone is left out does it?

  Adultery, Divorce, Remarry

  my brother (who is a witness) has been married for 8 years.

  he and his wife (also a witness) got married young, but he never really tried in the marriage, but she also lost his trust early on.

  he says that it was his fault though because he pushed her away.. anyways, he met this new girl (not a witness) and told his wife that he wanted to separate.

  What do I know? I am not a jw but all the stories over the years it seems to me to go this way- guy commits adultery, gets df'd, sits in the back of the kh with his new honey for a year, gets reinstated and all is good again. Unless, the guy is not liked or has no standing in the kh, then he will remain a leper for years and his new honey will also be a leper and they will have no real friends in the kh. That's how I see it happening over the years.

  If they both know how to turn on the crocodile tears that would be really helpful for them in the long run.
