I would find it difficult to imagine them going d2d with covid still going on even with the vax. How many people wanted to open their doors to them in times past much less now with covid?

If anyone (non jw ) doubts the veracity of a jw and general obnoxiousness you can always count on one like this one to make your point for you. I find it quite amusing when sending a Christian to a thread like this one to show them just how a jw truly acts. Though usually they can't believe the person is really a jw.
I ask jw's if they think they are making a case for their god or Jesus when they act like this and they go on to blame others for their behavior. Much like the abuser, "I wouldn't have to beat you if you just listened, believed and behaved like I wanted you to".
To some degree I can understand the jw thought about bringing reproach upon jah for the behavior in the cong, this one surely doesn't make one say, "wow, this guy is truly an enlightened holy guy! I want to join him so I can be just as much of a obnoxious ass as him".
At one time jw's used to be able to have actual discussions with people, sadly they know so little about jw doctrine, the Bible and history they don't know what to believe until their Lords in NY tell them what to believe.

this is important because the wt teaches that consciousness is a function of the physical brain.

As for consciousness the jw's are clueless and further more if you talk about such things with one they are highly suspicious and think anything they can't understand may be 'evil' somehow. Not only are they clueless but even researching it would be out of the question.

There would always be a 'but.... what if the person is xyz or does this or that'? they truly have no concept of unconditional love and even go so far as to put a stop to natural affection of a parent and child, siblings and so on (shunning for disbelief even without any sort of so called 'sin').As jhine noted everyone is your neighbor regardless of belief, skin color, etc.... I know my jw is helpful to people but it is how he grew up (not as a jw) his whole family is that way and it is one thing that has stuck so to speak. by neat blue dog inthe annual meeting from last fall had a live audience again this time and a recording of it makes up the january monthly program.
jesus said "everyone who exalts himself will be humbled", and the gb as usual waste no time in exalting themselves over the course of the annual meeting.
during splaine's talk, he says i guess what he thinks is a profound part of the talk outline, and then says "i'll repeat that", and reads it again.

I have forgotten, I suppose it is just 'symbolic' for them? I have yet to find a scripture where jw's will help the Almighty God clean up the earth of our dead burnt up hotdog carcasses -cause everybody knows God needs help with this sort of thing.
