What if there was a minimum you needed? People would think you were nuts to even pose the question I suppose. Some might even call the 'help' lines on your behalf. What would be the minimum, if you had to choose, or could?

since i'm relatively healthy, don't smoke, hardly drink (2 beers a day), and if i base myself on my grandparents and parents age, i think that i should live up to anywhere between 85 and 95. which means i should have another 40 to 50 years of posting here.

A personal note from me, a non jw. You only prove to me how hateful the jw's as a whole are. Now, you can think about the 'good name' you give to 'God's organization'. People like you only reinforce my stand to let everyone I know (and don't for that matter) how hateful this cult really is. You urge me on to go deliver more of my anti witness material. I'm currently at 240 homes and numerous 'bathrooms', waiting rooms, and other places. My goal in your honor for this week will be to make the 300 mark. It will be easy.

You know when I was first new to all of this bizzaro crap (no offense see cabernet thread) I always thought they seemed more interested in a 'name' rather than what was behind the name- being God (in my mind anyway). As if going around saying 'we are the only ones saying jehova', now get them to go beyond that and they cannot, often. They will still turn around and say 'we are the only ones' no matter the question. And they are not the only ones who use the 'name'. Point that out and they still will say the same thing, only 'we use it more'. Nobody ever answers my question in another thread for all the other 'names' used for God. freaks.

today i think finally said enough to get da'd.. for those of you just tuning in, a recap: about 2-3 years i came to realize everything i had been taught as a jw was a load of steaming turds.
since then i have managed to fade away more or less, without incident.

Sorry you are going through all of this. As a ubm I have met (long time ago now) with a few from the hell. Never being a jw I was still nervous but lost it everytime I met with them. Arrogant s.o.b.'s that they are. At the time I was still pretty green with all of this jw crap. Even dropped a few 'naughty words'! to say the least. when they started in about my marriage I had just about had enough! They didn't have any answers for any of the stuff I brought, which was considerable. Do I trust my husband? in short, no. He misses out on many things that go on in the lives of his family. wishing you all the best, I know a little of what you are going through, carla

CHEATING ON FIELD SERVICE
by chuckyy intowards the end of my time as a jw, i must confess to cheating whilst out on field service.. 1. i would turn up at the field service arrangement with my wife, and we would say that we were working together that day to do return visits.
as everyone went out, we would simply get into our car and drive home.
(hypocritical i know).

Normal Life.....
by Momofmany ini was thinking of the watchtower study as i was siting in church today.
my youngest two children were in the front singing "jesus loves me, this i know", in english, then in spanish.
they had these big grins on their faces.

How lovely! That brings back memories. I can remember singing that song! There's nothing like watching the little kids sing. They are loud and full of smiles. Each year they seemed to get a bit quieter and more serious. Feeling self conscious as they grow into young adults. Just normal kids.

First of all 'other' churches do not feel the need to distinguish between Bob God, Joe God and Jehovah God. Nor do they use a 'name' as a charm or mantra like jw's seem to and the early pagans.
