I guess many ubm's could be 'suspects'! To sift through df'd, ubm's, those who lost loved ones due to blood policy, sexual abuse issues, on and on, the police could have their hands full!

Shunned again, and you won't guess where. EVER.

mrs kwin went to work, kids went to school, i stayed home and made apple sauce and beer.
2:30 comes along and it's time to pick up everyone and, oh yeah ... we have that appointment today.

I would want this case to become public. Maybe even only the oped section of the paper. Or a formal apology with statement about jw's and their policies regarding shunning and lack of privacy for medical and mental health issues in the paper, LARGE. It would cost less than litigation. They wouldn't even have to mention names, they could run an 'ad' apologizing for something that occured within their company and how clients would not have to worry that anything like that would never happen again. It's a win win situation. They would get their 'kudos' for apologizing and the message about jw's would be put out for all to see as well. Just a thought, carla

New Light
by Poztate inyears ago just before my exit from "the truth" i had a chat with my father inlaw about changing and conflicting doctrines in the wt.. i happened to use the word wrong ....wow what a reaction i got.
i was reamed out on the spot.they are not wrong...they are never wrong...... it is "new light" .
in the next hour i could not get him to say or even think the"w" word.. it was very frustrating.

I agree with you guys. It seems to be a language issue. You can use words like, error or mistake and can only use the word 'false' with the word 'expectations' following it. They would prefer you not use 'present truth' either.

i have been told that the state fair is not a big deal in other areas of the country, but here in these parts, it means alot to us, expecially since we live in/near the capital city.
about the friend: he's a year younger than me, and we go to the same school.

I love it! Don't these girls have any friends? wouldn't they feel stupid basically having daddy call up and tell you must hang out with them? I would think even jw's have that much of normal social intelligence. don't they?

i'm o negative, which means i'm a universal donor.

did you ever go to the service group and be assigned to the different car groups.....and then....the sister that is assigned to go with you...decline and say...'i am just going by myself today and do my return vistits by myself'..... damn, i should have complained about that one!

by booker-t ini must admit i have never laughed so long in my life until i was "talking" to my ministerial servant (almost elder) brother the other day in the supermarket.
mind you this is the same brother that cut me off 12 years ago when i left jw's.
he was by himself this time the last time he went off on me in front of his wife and children calling me "apostate" and everything but the son of god.

I am sick of hearing how if one apologizes for mistakes (spreading false phophecy) they should not be labled as false prophet! Where does it say this in the Bible? Then they will go on how even the apostles had false expectations, the difference is they didn't go around preaching them.

How many more years do you think you have left to live?

since i'm relatively healthy, don't smoke, hardly drink (2 beers a day), and if i base myself on my grandparents and parents age, i think that i should live up to anywhere between 85 and 95. which means i should have another 40 to 50 years of posting here.
