  Dreams, dreams, dreams.

  in the last two weeks i have had three dreams in which the dubs were featured.

  in one i dressed up in a suit and revisited my old kingdom hall, all the while recording the reactions of everyone to my return with a palm sized camera.

  i was swarmed and they all seemed glad to see me, but nobody noticed my camera.

  Why Do We Come Onto These Boards???

  some of us are addicted or simply curious or have been referred to, to see what these boards are all about.

  even when people say that they're done, they're never coming back, they reappear......what's wrong with us?

  It's funny, I was long away from the Dubs but I felt unsure, without closure. I wasn't JW, I wasn't not JW, I was stuck, unable to progress in any aspect of life. Dragging remnants of the Truth™ behind me made me feel unworthy of love, I didn't date, I had no work I enjoyed.
  
  I know now I wasn't alone while i sat in the Hall®, we were just afraid to find each other thanks to the conditioning of the Society™. This board has allowed me to close the door.

  The funny thing is i haven't been troubled by dubdreams for years. It's in the recent weeks that they have surfaced. I'm pretty damn sure i ain't going back.
  
  Not giving up my redhead, my scotch, my meerschaum, my opinions, my tattoos, piercings, kilt, nor my movies, books, and music (no dub would have dared to be seen at the MC Chris show last year).

  Latest Awake! - "What is the Harm of Buying Girl Scout Cookies?"

  people from all over the united states enjoy the taste of a samoa cookie or a thin mint.

  in fact, during the winter campaign of the girl scouts of the usa, people spend millions of dollars on these delicacies.

  linda* (*not her real name) said that she buys no less than 18 boxes of the cookies every two weeks during the campaign.

  [it was funny, the night I had this dream, my girlfriend had dreams of captivity and of being restrained]
  
  The other dream was that a pair of girls which had come into my shop earlier in the evening had obtained my cell phone number and called me because they heard I was a Dub and they wanted to ask me out on a date. Strangeness...
  
  The third is too vague to retell, I just remember it was about going out in service™.
  
  Why are they invading my sleep?
