back when i was a boy in the 1950s many men wore hats and so did my father.. one evening at the kh he was called in to the backroom by the elders for a 'meeting after the meeting',.

his crime?

he had been seen raising his hat when greeting women!!!!.

It is not good to flatter people, to turn their head; it is to their harm. Specifically, why would a woman want this special show of respect from a man? One woman said in response to this question: "You don’t know how important it makes a woman feel to have a man tip his hat to her." That is sufficient reason for Christians to refrain from the custom. It is not in the interests of the individual to make him feel important, whether the individual is male or female

And I suppose being called "elder" doesn't make anybody feel special... Leave it to the dubs to link good manners to the devil.

I am taking the Borsalino out of the box this weekend and tipping it to every woman I see. I may even walk past the Catholic Church as well as see what happens...

You aren't alone. I remember the Muff n' Egg. I remember cursing that lukewarm, tinfoil-wrapped delicacy while my stomache grumbled and rumbled in the middle of the 11:00 a.m. ~~ramblings~~ talk from the platform.

I decided to spend my tickets on puddings from then on.

My hated catch-phrases were; Self-Abuse (I was trapped in a road trip to a DC with an new elder who wanted to help me if I had a problem w/ 'self-abuse' after my separation from my wife), Theocratic (as it was always applied to individuals, wouldn't they be a 'theocrat', much like I am a Democrat?), and Local Needs (Shouldn't that be what we are mostly concerned with anyway?).

Of course they had no signed documents, dubs are notorious for leaving no paper trail-or recordings-or photographs. It's all anecdotal from unnamed sources,just like in the mags.

Just because the attorney did not refer to WTS materials by the exact name,that guy felt he could deny the materials existance, hoo boy.

And I know we were supposed to avoid all contact with any DF'd in our congo. "Hello" was definitely NOT okay

Thanks for this video. I think a link to point out where he is lying so it makes sense to non-dubs would be helpful.

first of all my apologies.

in an earlier thread last week i posted that the wts has a new website to accept literature orders.

this is incorrect, i need to clarify.. the wts is changing the dates it is accepting literature orders.

Or the flying fickle finger of fate; a loop of about three pages of a photcopy of an extended middle finger (or image of the sender's choice). If sent after hours it will deplete a box of fax paper.
