Thank you, stumbleupon v2.83
by cyd0099 ini found this image and found it amusing to my agnostic sensability; .
http://phocks.org/stumble/prayer.php .
although i think a dub version, something along the lines of having a couple in suit and dress with the caption, "field service; how to think you're helping when you are doing nothing," would be even funnier.

Panhandlers piss me off!
by Nosferatu inyesterday, my brother and his son were in town visiting.
me and the wife decided to go out and get some pizza to bring back for supper.. when we pulled up to the pizza shop, a guy came up to the car window and gave us his sob story about how he had cancer removed, how he refused to stay in the homeless shelter, and presented a stack of papers stapled together along with his mb health card.
he asked for any change that we may have.

It's a small world.
I was just contemplating a slightly different take on the subject of panhandlers...
I did a brief stint as one of the homeless, sleeping in my car for nearly a month. I've been so broke i would loiter in a Costco, eating from the sampling tables because i had no money for food.
I've been down numerous times and not once did I ever ask anyone for money. As a result I have a low tolerance for those who ask me to subsidize their lifestyle.
I only get pissed off when a panhandler makes a blindside approach, disregarding the fact I am talking on my cell phone. I suppose they think I will just throw them change to get them to move away but instead I throw them serious attitude.
Otherwise I just coldly ignore them.
There are groups in place to help the homeless, I donate to them, especially in the off months. -

My Meeting with the Elders...
by rassillon init is most likely still very far away but i wanted to share with you guys one of the things i am thinking about doing when/if i do meet.
i plan on getting my chl (concealed carry permit)
then i am going to get a shoulder holster.

To wear it during your meeting with the elders, dumb.
You might get a few moments of giggles for yourself but then the story of the gun-toting apostate will circulate in the congregation and beyond reenforcing the dubs belief that xjws have all gone right crazy and handed themselves over to satan.
To record your meeting, smart.
If you keep a level head, you can, as others have said, make them look foolish with their own words and actions. -

I have VOX now
by cyd0099 inno, not the vodka, nor is it the book.
i write quite a bit online and this is some new blog-o-site from the company that recently bought live journal.
i've only had it for a day now but the picture, audio, and book features are becoming increasingly appealing.

Hehe, No ointment for that but I have been working all day at one job and swinging my paint brush and roller the rest of the time. I could use some ointment for my muscles. Ointment is a funny word.

It's funny how people get possessive of you on-line.If you mention a different blogging site they want to know if you are leaving and why. -

Which "element" of tattoo wearing people do they not want to be associated with? Doctors, Lawyers, Grannies, Sailors, Motorcycle Riders, Baristas, College Students, IT Professionals, Teachers...
It's become almost so mainstream to have lost meaning except to the person who has the ink. -

What is your town or area's claim to fame?
by free2beme inevery where you live, the local area has something about it that is either famous for something good or something bad.
as an example, you go to one town and it may have the historial site of a famous war battle.
you go to another an it might be the place something was invented, or the birthplace of someone famous.

Kerouac did some firewatching in the mountains near here. There is the Ski to Sea race every spring. It's the hip place to retire. (Go**amn old people) A little south there's a tulip festival. BTW Free2, I used to live in So. Oregon. Went to the Shakespearean theaters in Ashland all the time. Mom used to work for H&D.
