We've been getting snow off and on all day. I had planned on picking up my tree today but I'm going to wait until this clears a bit.

hardest conversation of my life
by metaspy inmoments ago, i talked to my mom.. i told her that i was taking some time off from going to meetings and service.. the conversation went down hill from there.. as her usual she just dismissed my reasons as if they meant nothing.. i pointed to the child molestations as my main reason for leaving.. "you are being over-sensitive", "jehovah takes care of things in his own time", "rely on jehovah".
those were the catch phrases of the conversation.. a new one was: "what have you been reading?".
i have a hard time standing up to my mother.

Remember, it takes at least two to fight or argue. If you don't feel up to the task of dealing with your mom and/or her posse of elders then don't. Your opinions are your own, you stated them to your mom and tell anyone who asks that's enough for now and to go away and you'll talk to them when you feel like it.
For someone who feels they have no backbone, you took a pretty courageous step in talking to your mom and telling her how you feel. -
