The bottom line is simply this. If 607 is wrong then you have to have a replacement year.
Didn't QUITE understand this - for us English, does it mean, ''we've cocked up 607, we're resorting to Plan B''??

but family want me back so im trying to prove to myself that it isnt true, top get the strength not to go back,i heard the 607 date may be false, can anyone show me about that, i know exactly what the jws say and cant believe the intial date is wrong, is it?

Am speechless - how odd. IF I didn't know better I'd think that a little suggestion was being planted in the event of someone mentioning that the JW were ''IN'' (here the UN NGO thing isn't really ''known'')....so they're already programmed in the event of accusations.

This will probably sound silly - but I'd just finished reading ''The DaVinci Code'' and it got me curious as to, well, The Last Supper Pic etc....I stumbled on this site. I started to read. ''Nutters, bound to be'', I thought. Read some more. I recognised soooooooo much - identified with so much. All those feelings I had as a ''child'' and young adult (one day I promise)...rest history - the Lord DOES move in mysterious ways - I thought I was alone in my feelings. Thanks ALL.

What to wear to the District Convention

i was worried about the shunning thing but then realised, how about i just don't wear the uniform, and dress like a study instead?
with a wig and sunnies none of my people will notice me, and strangers will treat me nicely and share their sandwiches and offer me bible studies.

ARE JW SISTERS ALLOWED TO CARRY COFFINS?

the poster said jw women literally "don't count" - a brilliant play on words.
i guess i had never thought about it before, but it got me wondering about all the behind-the-scene work jw females do, but their invisibility in the public arena.

My father had a JW funeral in 1995 - his coffin was carried (well, wheeled in by the Funeral Directors, NOT the ''Brothers'') into the Kingdom Hall where the service took place.
