I thought the GB had been practicing on the zombie stuff. That's what they appear to be....and that's what they act like! Oh, not to mention all the little zombies running around with their head up their ass.
brief history:.
both my wife and i have faded from the borg for about 10 years.
we still maintain close relationhips with the dubs in our family on both sides.. my wife's sister has not only faded, but she has become an ordained minster, thus my mother in law calls her an "apostate" and refuses to have any contact with her.. her 4 year old daughter will stay with my family for about 2 weeks in august.
I totally agree with all those above me. That's an issue of trust. I say let the jw grandma suffer. That's called consequences of our actions. If she wants to see the child bad enough, let her do it thru the correct channels. If not, well, one more family torn apart by "shunning". And it seems, that she's taking that to extreme. If your wife gives in, she's only encouraging the JW's behavior. Like mentioned before, is your wife ready to put family ties at risk, just because the grandma doesn't want to pick up the phone. Plus, the grandma knows this has to be done secretly. Encouraging this behavior will only set her up for more sneeking around.

You really ought to crawl back under that rock you slithered from. You never know when someone/something might show up and be demonized. You are not following the WBTS directions very well. I do believe that they more than discourage being on sites like this one. Not being a very good JW, now, are you???
Where I grew up at, this would get you an elder's meeting. Why don't you go find some of the real JW sites, where someone might give a shit!! I'd tell you to go to hell, but, it seems you are already living there!!

I have 4 siblings, and none will go to the KH. I've decided I'm not wasting any more time on them. They can play by my rules, or find a new game to play with someone else>

How do you do.......
my motivation was not to "recruit" for the watchtower society.
i thought i made it clear when i stated that i am no longer one of jehovah's witnesses anymore and that i am on your side.
however, the impression i am getting is that no one is really understanding what i am getting at.
The only thing good in my old congregation was the elders got to practice a hell of alot on JC meetings. Hell, I was the one who made sure they earned their titles and positions.
Anything else that could be considered good would not be allowed. Can't have anyone enjoying their life!
well...today was a monday from hell...had lots of running around to do.
i finally got our van registered (have been driving it for over a year unregistered and uninspected...amazing you can get away with that down here.
i know people that have been arrested up north for that haah).
After working the ER in downtown dallas, there's nothing I haven't seen. Yes, the nurses get a kick out of toddlers and the shit they can get into. If often brightens up a bad day.
(We won't discuss what is even funnier--we keep a board for deer vs hunters during deer season. That's even funnier!!!)

i was brought up by an alcoholic mother and step father, life was miserable, told never to tell what was going on to other family members.
my elder siblings left home as soon as they could to marry.

i have read a number of experiences in this discussion forum and quite frankly, i would have to agree that many, if not all, were pretty terrible experiences if not all together traumatic.
i know that my personal 9-11 tragedy resulted in finding out that the watchtower society was involved with the united nations.
that pretty much said it all as far as my "career" in the organisation was concerned.
I have to agree with everyone above me. The only thing I learned was that it is not appropriate to question anything, or to think for yourself. I learned public appearance is everything to them. Doesn't matter that a young girl is being molested for years. The head of the family is to be obeyed, no matter what the consequences are.
When I ran away from home to get away from being molested by my stepdad, a MS-- I learned how to think on my own. That I was not a piece of property. Nursing school taught me how to think, question, and to present myself in a professional way. I was encouraged and felt unconditional love from my real dad---something I didn't know existed.
I could go on and on. Maybe YOU got some good out of the JWs-- but you're looking in the wrong place to find any good out of JWs.
