What I thought were true friends,shunned me on a dime; My stepdad molesting me, and it being covered up; Having my family tossed into chaos that we are still healing from; Not allowed a normal childhood; JC meetings that were emotionally abusive, almost letting my little sister die because of no blood.....
yea, I still have trust and self confidence issues. BIGTIME! Among other things. I can think of nothing good they have brought to my life. I have battled suicide attempts, drug addiction, etc......because of them. The healing has just begun.....

Have you installed your WT "Keeping Spiritually Clean" software?

big brother wt cant control the internet, they tried to shut down all anti jw sites, they threatened those who went to any sites that mentioned jw beliefs even if it was pro-jw....they dfd jws who published books or had sites about the organization even if they were pro-jw....they developed their own web sites to counter the flow...then came the jw dating sites, the jw chat rooms,...they cannot stem the flow!
so... they will develop software (spyware) that all "loyal" jws will have to have on their computers that will prevent them from going to any non-approved web sites containing any anti-jw information.

Next they will be implanting micro chips that will zap them if they come close to an apostate! lol If they did something like that on software, isn't that somehow violating freedom of _________ something or other. Wouldn't they have to make it known they are doing that? Oops, blonde moment, forgot who I was talking about.

Is everybody serious about this 'no chatroom' resolutuion??
by jambon1 ini have come across this about this years assembly in a few posts recently.
sorry if i seem stupid but is this a local sarcastic joke common to this website or is it a fact that they have included it in this years resolution?
if it is, then firstly, i am quite honestly stuck for words!

HELP PROSECUTE THE PERPS...

for those who may not know, i am a civil attorney whose practice is limited to sexual molestation litigation.. at present, my firm represents a number of abuse survivors who were molested by those in authority in various jw congregations.
these cases are pending.. in the course of investigating the factual background related to the clients i represent, i have stumbled across a great number of reports of abuse within the context of jw congregations.

This, and another site, are my lifelines. It's taken awhile to open up. I'm still working on that one, too. But when I'm not on here for a day or two, I can't stand it. You all are closer to me than most of my family.
I love you all, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it!!

I have helped in surgery during this procedure. It's pretty safe here in the US. The risks of complications are pretty low, but do exist, as in any medical procedure.
