  Any Lefties?

  my oldest son is left handed.

  everytime he does anything different from the rest of us.....my husband relates this to being left handed.. he is very artistic, detailed, and extremely particular about how he wants things in his little world to be.. this may be because he's 5 - who knows.. are there any traits of left handed people that you lefties may want to share so i can be prepared in the future?.

  often, more so then not, my former witness friends have the habit of wondering why more people do not hear or know about things witnesses do in modern history.

  yet in time, from being on boards like this one and from knowing far more people that are not witnesses, then ones that are or were.

  the crazy acts of the early 1900's that gained public attention, were replaced with a more invisable conformed organization that really does very little to be noticed.

  Wouldn't you think that a religious organization that has taken on the mantle of being "God's Visible Organization On Earth", would be known for that? Wouldn't you think that the "Only True Religion" would be such a bright light in this dark world that it would be so glaringly obvious they couldn't baptize people fast enough? Wouldn't you think that an organization who believes that it is their directive from God to preach "The Good News Of The Kingdom" to all corners of the earth, would be known for that? Wouldn't you think that if the end of this system of things is so close, and the preaching work has to be fulfilled before that happens, Jehovah's Witnesses and their message would be much more prominent in the media? If the reason why people are going to live forever or die an eternal death is based on how they respond to the WT message, wouldn't you think it would be one of the main things being talked about today?
  
  Instead, in these "Last Days", Witnesses are known as the kooks who don't celebrate holidays and annoy you on Saturday mornings.

  I've read this thread as long as it's been active and I've kept my mouth shut as long as I could. I didn't think people like "Smelly" deserved any type of response. However...
  
  This thread has become extremely redundant. Almost every poster (myself included) has tried to justify his/her feelings to a very callous piece of crap. This Smelly guy isn't worth the effort. He began this thread with little regard towards anyone's feelings, essentially calling everyone here a big baby. Later, he seemed to show a little contrition, but since then has made comments like this:
  
  "many could have opted to endure the lies of the WT in order to stay with their families. Yet many of you opted to leave the org and thus your families. So in truth your hatred of the org is greater than your love of your family."
  
  Ever hear of FREEDOM, Smelly? Ever hear of living a lie, Smelly? Ever hear of integrity, Smelly?
  
  "You would rather leave the org and never have your family because of doctrinal jibber jabber than be with your loved ones."
  
  Jibber jabber, Smelly? How many JWs died because of not conforming to JW doctrines that were later changed? How many families were torn apart because of changing WT dogma? Manipulation, deceit, death? Is that jibber jabber to you, Smelly?

  This is how much I love my family, Smelly. I have children who are completely indoctrinated in the LIE. They are totally cut off from me, because they follow WT mandates about disfellowshipped apostates. One day, they will have children who they will raise in the LIE. One day my kids will learn the truth about the WTBTS. At that time, if they are true to themselves, they will have to leave the Borg. Then, THEY will be cut off from THEIR children. It's a fucking lie, Smelly, and it perpetuates itself from generation to generation, destroying individuals and families as it goes. This is how much I love my family, Smelly. I will do everything in my power to stop it here, before it goes any further. I probably won't be successful, but I'm going to do my best.
  
  You can go to hell, Smelly, for belittling what I and many others here have gone through. Go back and live the LIE.

  now i only drive automatic transmission cars....because there is so much traffic and too many stop signs.

  it becomes annoying.

  i used to love driving manual transmissions, but no more.. the internet is one other thing that i wouldn't be able to do without.. how about you?.

  OH my god it's moving all by itself!!

  i have just discovered that i can move the cursor on my screen by moving the fingertips of my left hand about one centimeter above my laptop sensor pad.

  i don't think it's demunzz, but maybe the electrical field of my body interacting in some way.. if any part of my body is touching the computer it doesn't happen.

  i can also make my face tingle when i hold my right hand over my head about five inches above where my soft spot was as a baby.. i often get electrical shocks from the fittings in department stores.. any theories - has anyone else found this??.

  Taking on others personalities

  do you ever have a friend or close relative that has taken on someones personality ?

  this is someone that you knew to act and think a certain way and then they meet someone and they have changed into the other person such as likes and dislikes and their way of reasoning .. .

  do you know what i mean ,kinda like the person you knew has become someone that you don't really know.
