The ocean was wonderful LyinEyes. I dont' live near it but did at one time. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I got there.

here is my entry for today. I just got back from vacation at my time share. That sure was fun (fun in the sun). I got to be by the ocean, go shopping, relax in the hot tub, all kinds of good stuff

How Do YOU Feel Knowing That YOU Were In A Cult?

for years, i refused to think of the witnesses as a "cult".

too harsh and restrictive of a word for me......but there is no denying that we were all in a mind controlling cult.

are you embarrassed or uncomfortable knowing that you belonged to a cult just like the moonies and the branch davidians are/werw a cult?

It isn't something I am proud of. But we were brainwashed, so what can we say or do to change it? nothing

go to school dressed as a dark jedi and bring my double bladed saber on may 19th.

even better, awards ceremoney is that day..so ill have to walk out infront of the whole school.

Two More Old Friends Died

my wife just walked in from visiting my daughter and said two of my friends from youth had died in the past few weeks, they were brothers.

we grew up together as jws and my daughter married the grandson of their father's sister, that's why she knew of their deaths.

no one had let me know so i could have attended their funerals.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend as well as hearing you weren't given the opportunity for some closure.

Should jws use makeup?

i believe it may have pagan origins

You know it is funny but on my job once all the women were talking about me being a witness and then one said, yeah and she wears makeup, she isn't supposed to. So one of my friends on that job called me and asked if I was supposed to wear it. I told her of course I can wear makup!

because the WTS took so many things in the bible and used them to their own intent, I dont' know that to believe, what is literal, what is figureative and what had NOTHING to do with what we were told. I dont' trust my judgment.
