The elder i know that does all of the funerals said he made one himself. I dont know if thats procedure though.

Did you ever get any "Bad Advice" from Elders or Ministerial Servants?

i remember once, an elder told me that i could become a full time pioneer.
i was working 40 hours a week, and had a seasonal job 7 months a year.. the way he figured it out, i could work 8 hours during my day, then go to my meetings, and still find 3 or 4 hours to preach that same day...... i told him to go climb a tree.

That was the last time i ever took any advice from a witness.

My 14-year-old has a same sex attraction.....

actually, if she were getting too close to a boy, i probably wouldn't know how to handle it either....lol.
but, as a parent, i'm not sure how to talk to her about it, as it's something i'm familar with.

Alot of girls are confused at that age, its becoming fairly prevalent today.
I remember a cross dresser in our school and he was only in 9th grade.
One thing i have noticed is that alot of girls who profess to be Bi/Les (in high school) do it to become more popular. Some are just confused about their orientation.They have "girlfriends" who are just as confused as they are. On there other hand, there are those that really are into that lifestyle.
Whatever it is, you should just talk to her about it. Alot of parents dont want their children having relationships at that age regardless of their orientation, so it wouldnt be wrong of you as a parent to enforce or set rules in what you expect out of her. Just my two cents.

An elder once gave me a Bible Higlights part (I wasnt even a ministerial servant) and told me that it was to show the CO that i was capable of handling assignments, lo and behold, the CO wasnt even paying attention to any of the theocratic ministry school parts and left during the speech quality so he didnt even see my part.

Uses of The 4th Dimension (Einstein was wrong!)
by use4d insince i discovered the 4th dimension, one of the conclusions i have reached is, the 4th dimension is an infinite access to the truth.
throughout this website, i use the term "i wish" - it is really a way to voice a person's desire - and from the work i have done - it really works.
from the saying: "ask and you shall receive", i have understood that any human being can make an infinity of "wishes" and receive the truth (the correct answer) to every question they may have, in the form of a dream - that same night.

O how i love dimensional theory.
I think its the 11 dimension's of the brane theory thats the funnest though.
I remember an article describing the theory as a ball of paper crumbled up into a tiny ball. Now you're supposed to imagine something small enough to fit into any of the holes. There is a possibility that anything entering into the hole can come out at any point on the peice of paper, so time and space was passable.

Does the Bible's '2 witnesses' rule give evidence of divine inspiration?
by scout575 inat deut 17:6 the law is given that states that for the death penalty to be imposed on someone guilty of a capital offence, there have to be 2 or 3 witnesses to the crime.
if there weren't at least 2 witnesses then no conviction could be made and therefore no punishment meted out to the offender.. consider the following scenario: an israelite girl is being sexually abused by her israelite father ( incest was a capital offence under the mosaic law - leviticus 18:6,29 ).
she approaches the city elders and tells them what her father is doing to her.

An elder once told me a story about how this sister was disfellowshipped because her husband and one of his friends accused her of immorality (when she in fact wasnt).
She was difellowshipped and continued to go to the meetings and soon enough it was found out that her husband was lying.
The moral of the story was to help me appreciate that even though the elders DF'd her, she relied on jehovah and he straightened out the matter.
In my mind i was like "Hell, if they did that to me, they'd never hear from me again".
