  what it feels like to be reinstated

  i just got reinstated about 3 months ago and i am still trying to adjust.

  i got baptized right before i turned 16, got disfellowshipped not even a year later.

  then another year later i get reinstated.

  Hello Air,
  What a situation you are in. You must be torn in so many directions, Trying to please your parents, elders,sisters and brothers and finally God.
  You did state that you were almost 18, do you believe that The Witnesses are right, or is it something that you have been taught since birth. This was the case for me, and I did not make my OWN decison until I was 26 years of age. Seeing some of the same things you mentioned..favorable treatment etc.
  The point I'm trying to make, have you truly come to the conclusion that this is the religion for you. Try to take a step back and ask yourself if this is what you want. If it is perhaps your friends and family will come around. If it is not something you desire or are questioning your motives i.e. please parents,friends perhaps you should reconsider WHY you are in tnis religion, research it if you can.
  I can tell you I have expierenced several things within the JW way that pushed me to the option of suicide and after some research espically since in John is says you will know your brothers by the love that they show. I did not see any more love and made an adult decison to leave.
  But you must examine you own expierences and heart and see if this may be the option for you. You cant please everyone and your going to find that your mental health will suffer because of it.

  The only comparison I have heard is that of Pearl Harbor and the surpiise attack on WCT, except they knew who the enemy was.While now they can only speculate. I dont believe they were comparing Heroshima to TWC.

  i have not been posting here for long and i am trying to get a "feel" for the makup of the group.

  i thought about telling my story in the personal experiances area but chickened out.

  i have noticed that the majority of the posters here are xjw's but there seem to be a few active jw's.

  Planes just a diversion... Ambulances had bombs.

  i feel pretty sure about this, that the planes were just a diversion set to allow emergency vehicles easy access to the basement parking lot.

  eye witnesses placed a large explosion just before the south building came down.

  one thing is sure, the buildings did not come down as a result of the planes hitting them or any explosions due to that.

  There were reports of second explosions, weather it be from bombs or gas leaks there were reports of exposions.

  Pinch ME Please I Must be Dreaming!

  i woke up this morning as you all did to this chaos that has enveloped our country, for those of you outside our country i am sure you were just as shocked.

  nothing as devistating has happened during my lifetime.

  although for some of you in countrys where terriosm is an everyday occurence i now can see the horror and heartache you must deal with on a daily basis.

  This morning I woke up the 2nd day and still feel numb and a sense of incredulation. I cant believe this happened and I still pray for all those affected by this horrible situation. I cant imagine what those people on the planes went through!
  I had nightmares last night and did not get much sleep. All those rescue personal dead.
  All those people dead and injured.
  Its still as if the full impact has not set in with me yet.
  Anyone else feeling the same?
