what cities are worth a visit of at least 3 days?.
the cities i can think of:.
(not ordered in any way.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Boston!! So much fun.
What is there so pecial about Boston?
You need at least three days in LA because of the traffic! It's not a tourist friendly city as far as transportation is concerned. I think within the next ten years we'll start to see more improvements because the freeways are at their limit.
I did like the transportation options in LA. They were quite OK. The bus brings you to most places. If you want to drive it was not overcrowded also....
Don't get stuck in capitals. My personal favourite is Florence (Firenze) -- when you're there ;you can easily go to ;Sienna, Pisa, Perugia and ;Assisi. And there is ;Venice of course.
Toledo, Granada, Córdoba, Sevilla.
Vienna, Salzburg.
Very right, Narkissos, These are nice cities, which offer something....
If the middle east wasn't torn up, I would like to take a trip to Tyre. ; Maybe get a few pictures of me standing in a city that doesn't exist. ; (See 607 thread) ; Okay this joke is in bad taste.
LMAO. Hmm, Actualy I think Tyre would be interesting. But I would recomment you wait to Israels hostilities are over.
my ccw instructor was not very encouraging about 3rd party defense by a ccw holder.
he said that it was not only risky because too often you (the ccw holder) don't know the whole story and you could make a big mistake.
in addition, there's the risk that you could act in defense of a stranger, only to find out the stranger is horrified by you having a gun, and could say something to the cops that screws you over (even if you've acted within the bounds of the law).. given that the society's published attitude about guns as defense, is that christians "reject magic and weapons as tools of protection," how willing would you be to act in defense of a jw that a) you didn't know [you saw them being attacked on the street] or b) you did know?
I do not really get your story,
but I would not thread a witness differently then any other person, when having to defend him/her.
Being a witness does not make someone not woth resquing or inferior. Just having a difference in opinion on somethings....
I would not easily defend someone I do not know if there would be much risk involved. And then of course I am not a gun owner (I am not a criminal or a hunter)

september's awake mag, discusses evolution.. on page 20 it makes the claim that' (the bible), does not support the idea that life arose from nonliving matter or that god started off the process of evolution with a single cell.'.
however, if i remember the account of creation in genesis, god created adam from the 'dust of the ground'.
am i mistaken here, or could the wtbts be confused?
according to the bible:
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
and
Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
sounds pretty much like evolution

These are all incredible cities, but the larger ones, like Rome, Paris or London, require at least a week to see the important sites and museums.
yes true, that is why I say at least 3 days. Cities that will enjoy you for at least that time.... Warlock
Compton.
Where the ... is that?
LonelySheep:
Miami, Las Vegas, Honolulu, Dallas, PhiladelphiaI agree with las Vegas. I mean Hawaii is nice, but the city itself? And the other cities were not too exited IMHO. Or I am missing something?

And since the Tyre prophecy is wrong then the Egypt prophecy is wrong? Why not take it a step further and say that if these prophecies are wrong then other Bible prophecies are no doubt wrong and thus the Bible is nothing but a man made book of some true prophecies but some false prophecies so it really cannot be depended on at all.
You make a good point here, thank you.
With the postings of 3wd the board has become much more alive, Thanks 3JW

.
if an atheist leads good life with high moral standards, because he choice to do so and thinks for logic it is a good thing, does it not mean much more then when a theist does the same, because his gods tells him to do it?
what's your thoughs on this?
